We have a 2 month old and a 4 year old at home. In my humble opinion… people who have kids are nuts and psychotic 🤪🤪🤪
Love this
I’m proud to partner with @EreborBank as Chair of its Opportunity Initiative, a new nationwide effort to bring more capital and economic opportunity to communities that have too often been overlooked. The Initiative begins in my home state of Ohio, where Erebor is committing $20 million to local financial institutions, starting with Adelphi Bank, Ohio’s only Black-owned bank.
From Columbus, we’ll expand across Ohio and throughout the country where many communities still lack the capital they need to reach their full potential.
By partnering with local financial institutions that know their communities best, and supporting areas such as housing, healthcare and workforce training, we can help businesses grow, create jobs, and build more lasting economic opportunities.

There’s functionally no difference between Dems having 225 vs 245 seats in 2027, but I think it’d be good for the GOP (and America) to have a fresh start in 20 or so R+10 House districts in 2028. Plus give a chance for some Max Rose-type Dems to distinguish themselves.
Now that’s a great quote
For @WashingtonSun: The DCCC has opened a $25M line of credit.
"It will ensure we can finish the cycle strong and win the largest majority possible," the DCCC told me. "The amount is in line with how much we normally do, adjusted for Trump inflation."

This is very cool
Breaking News: Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration is making a $30 million investment to build a quantum research lab at New York University. In exchange, the city will receive 15% of any proceeds from intellectual property developed in that lab. nyti.ms/4jUe7GD

Wow this seems big:
NYSE parent ICE and OKX are moving to launch 24/7 tokenized U.S. stock trading in the U.S. under the SEC’s new Innovation Exemption.
The venue will start with 60+ stocks, with tokens carrying the same dividend and voting rights as the underlying shares.

The NY Times is spotlighting how VoteVets is shaping the 2026 midterms. Twenty years ago, it was rare for Democrats to take on Republicans over the military. We changed that. Now, we're spending $60 million to back 331 Democratic candidates, it's the biggest cycle in our 20-year history.
From putting Iowa on the map with Josh Turek, to backing veterans like Cait Conley, Rebecca Bennett, and Elaine Luria, we're helping elect a new generation of leaders who've served this country and understand the true cost of war.

I can see the bumper stickers now!
“Talking to @RahmEmanuel, it’s like middle-age married sex,” said @JohnAnzo, a Democratic pollster who has known him for decades. “It’s focused. You know what you’re going for. And it’s short.”

🚨IT’S PAYBACK TIME: Hakeem Jeffries says Democrats are poised to retake the House and finally LOWER costs after Republicans made everything more expensive:
“Life is way too expensive here in the United States of America.
There are too many people, millions of folks, working hard, playing by the rules, can't thrive, and can barely survive.
The Republican economic policies have been a disaster.
They promised to lower costs on day one. Costs haven't gone down, they've gone up. Democrats are determined to do something about that
Republicans made life more expensive. Democrats are coming to fix it.”
Hear many people telling that sex and city and west wing began in 90s. Fine - but no love for How to Make it in America is tragic. Everyone involved in the cancellation of that show should be exiled.
