Who starts at first base for the Mets in 2027?
Teruaki Sato?
Ty France?
Jake Bauers?
A trade acquisition?
An internal option?

Live on Speaking of the Mets now discussing Freddy Peralta’s stellar stretch with the Rays. He’s distanced himself from a very disappointing stint with the Mets...
Since NY is on the hunt for SP upgrades this winter, should they look to sign Peralta?
youtube.com/live/xEInomtK-SQ…
Freddy Peralta has been dominant with the Rays, especially in the playoffs. Tonight he helped send them to the World Series and he won ALCS MVP.
So … should the Mets try to bring Peralta back in free agency?

When I went out to left field last night at Yankee Stadium to ask around about the fan interference play, I ran into Zack Hample.
He watched everything unfold from his spot in the back of the same section and didn't hold back on the fan who was ejected:

The Rays had a base open with two outs and Luis Garcia Jr. (0-for-8 in the series) on deck ... this 0-1 hanging changeup can't happen from Nick Martinez.
Rice makes him pay to tie the game at 1-1 with an RBI single. That's 9 RBI for Rice in five playoff games so far.
