Here's how we would redesign Welcome Email 1 for dessertboxes.com.au
We completed an AB test for an 8-fig brand’s welcome flow where we swapped the order in which these 2 emails were sent in the welcome flow.
Sending the social proof email before the USP email outperformed the reverse variation, increasing sales by 223%
Basically, this shows that putting the social proof email higher in the send order will likely increase sales of subsequent emails

BFCM EMAIL FLOWS
We revamp all flows to be BFCM-specific.
Basically what this means is just replace the top banner of each email with the BFCM offer (e.g. 25% off sitewide).
Also shorten the time interval between each email.
Basically be more aggressive overall for BFCM week

For our 8-fig clients we are sending to these segments for BFCM:
> Customers
> Non-buyers - great time to try us, best offer of the year
> Winback - previous customers who haven't purchased in 120+ days - we’d love to have you back
You can also take past customers who have opted out of receiving emails, use that as a FB ads audience and get a really good ROAS

Email designs can be super simple & still convert really well
They just need to contain certain elements structured in a certain order
Here's an example of how a product campaign is structured:

If you’re a brand looking to build your email team, this is the structure you should be following:
Email strategist:
> Their main job is to maximize email & SMS revenue. Good performance is defined as the email revenue $ value & percentage of total revenue going up & to the right over a long period of time (gauged in 3-month timeframes or greater)
> The main way to achieve this is to analyze the account, identify weakpoints or areas of opportunity in the account, come up with solutions
> This person manages the project manager, who executes the ideas & strategies that the strategist comes up with
Copywriter:
> Their main job is write high-quality email copy, come up with content angles, and optimize the content over time based on what is performing the best
> This person reports to the project manager
Email designer:
> Their main job is to produce premium-quality email designs according to brand guidelines
> This person reports to the project manager
Project manager:
> Their main job is to make sure all of the projects assigned by the strategist are scheduled on the calendar & completed on time
> Responsible for managing the tasks & calendars of the copywriter & designer, and for communicating with the strategist to get emails approved or carry out his revision requests.
Email image settings most designers get wrong:
Export as JPG, not PNG (unless you need transparency - PNG files are 3-5x heavier)
Design your Figma frames at 1200px wide, export at 1x
Klaviyo renders at 600px, so 1200px = crisp retina quality without bloated file sizes
Heavy images = slow load = lower conversion. So this is the optimal balance between load speed & quality

Good post purchase strategy:
Ask your 2x+ customers for a referral in exchange for a good offer on their next purchase.
Works very well bc word of mouth is the most effective growth strategy, so it makes a ton of sense to facilitate it through flow automations.
