Wuthering Waves 3.7 Story Review: Sentinel Becoming Human Writing 9/10 Music 10/10 Boss Fight 9/10 Narration 9/10 World Building 9/10 Quest Area and other parts of the quest: 9/10 Visuals 9/10 Hsin: - With the whole “heart” theme, I knew they would explore it throughout the story, and they absolutely did. Each part of Hsin’s story explores different emotions, and she experienced a lot of them. - Her backstory also connects well with her PV, explaining why people were wearing masks, what caused it, and why Hsin threw herself into the fire. - I also really liked the NPCs. Even characters we only briefly met had their own stories. There was even a callback to a 3.7 NPC, but I’ll leave that as a spoiler. - To me, Hsin’s story felt like “What happens when a heart is made up of human emotions?” Joy, happiness, sadness, regret, betrayal, and sorrow all shaped the Hsin we see today. That made her feel much more alive and grounded, which made it easier to understand and connect with her. Rover: - Rover also played an important role throughout the story. There were several moments where Rover said something surprisingly logical, and I genuinely thought, “YOU? YOU’RE SAYING THAT?” Yeah, it was that good. Suoming: - Suoming is also a really interesting character. I love her mature way of speaking and how she handles situations. The story also explains more about her powers, her nine seals, and most importantly, how she obtained them. Also, the connection she has with Sentinel is well established - Her backstory is honestly one of the saddest parts. While she wasn’t the main focus, her presence was handled well, and you could clearly see how she influenced the overall story. Overall, I think both Hsin and Souming were handled really well. #WutheringWaves #WuWa
