There are 8 dogs at present in our dog pound. Dogs that are not reclaimed after 5 days are rehomed through animal rescue. For a list of current missing/stray dogs at our dog pound visit: mayo.ie/missing-dogs

Mayo County Council Arts Service and Interface Inagh are delighted to announce the opportunity for 1 artist from County Mayo to apply for a 2-week residency at Interface. Mayo County Council's Arts Service is delighted to host a professional development event at Ballina Arts Centre, Ballina on Thursday 5th November from 10:30 am to 3:30 p.m. The session will be facilitated by Kate Wilson, Director of Undercurrent Dance Company and artists Isolde Carmody and Emilie Conway and is aimed at artists with disabilities, support staff and personal assistants working in inclusive settings, supporting artists and participants with diverse access requirements. Road resurfacing works by will take place in Cong Village, commencing on Tuesday 27th October until Thursday 29th October • Temporary traffic management will be in operation • Please expect delays and allow extra time for your journey. • Emergency vehicles will be accommodated.

Road surfacing works will take place on the N26 Foxford to Ballina Road at Shraheen & Coolcronan from Monday October 26th for a period of 2 weeks. ➡️ Traffic management & local diversions in place during working hours.. ➡️ Local access / Emergency Service Vehicles will be accommodated.

Two further Status Yellow Warning have been issued for Mayo for Monday October 26th. ⚠️ Status Yellow Rain Warning will be in effect from 4pm Monday until 10pm later on Monday. ⚠️ Status Yellow Wind Warning will be in effect from 5pm Monday until 11.59pm later on Monday. Very strong and gusty south to southwest winds with spells of heavy rain mey lead to: - Debris/loose objects displaced - Fallen trees/branches - Difficult travelling conditions - Localised flooding & large coastal waves Please exercise caution.

The R331 Claremorris to Ballinrobe is partially blocked with fallen trees, crews are attending to remove.
