When your principal wears all the hats and supports every job in your school, you might walk in on a Monday morning to find him leaf blowing and beautifying the campus. Thanks for being such a great leader Dr. E! @RioSTEAMSchool @RioSDLive

#TheSCR5RiverProject: Our semi-permanent home for the SCR-5 River! 🏞️🏗️ The model lives in this window/portal to spread learning to anyone who passes by our building 💧♒ We also made a visual timeline to show our entire design process 📝🪜 #rioschools @RioSTEAMSchool

The Video & Broadcasting Students were able to walk on sets in some movies, visited sound stages, saw props used in movies, made potions used in Harry Porter movies and so much more in the Warner Brothers’ Studio Tour today. Thank you CTE grant for making this happen!

April is #MinorityHealthMonth. When it comes to mental health and suicide prevention, culture can influence help-seeking behaviors, stigma, and community support. This handout includes films from a variety of perspectives and languages: directingchangeca.org/wp-con…

4 weeks ago I approached one of my math students & asked her join AVID next year. She's the student version of "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover." I really wanted her to join so we can work together to prove society wrong. Today she confirmed she's joining my program <3 – at Oxnard, CA

Started our 🍃WIND SIMULATOR🍃 project today by creating pipe cleaner versions of our school's 'Learning Tree' 🌳🧠 Tomorrow, we create 'wind' using batteries, motors, fans, etc! We will use our #RdSBotany study to get seeds around school to test in our simulators! #rioschools
