The Meetology® Social Club is open! Here’s what it is all about.

8 HUMANS. 8 PHONES. ZERO INTERACTION. As a job I speak all over the world on the behavioural science of (and benefits from) face-to-face human interaction. I’m doing so here in Bulgaria & the situation I saw in the hotel earlier illustrated why we need to learn to reconnect.

THANKS FOR HAVING ME It was a huge honour to host the IMEX Gala Dinner & Award Ceremony at Frankfurt’s Alte Oper last night as we celebrated the meetings & event Industry’s finest. I enjoyed meeting up with so many friends from this magnificent industry. #eventprofs

Ready to go in London. 🇬🇧🎙️

HERE WE GO🎙️ I’m looking forward to heading to Abu Dhabi tomorrow to host the 63rd @ICCAWorld Congress. Rehearsals have gone well, but nothing really counts until you’re on-site. Looking forward to seeing old friends/colleagues there. #iccaworld

THANKS FOR HAVING ME I’m lucky enough to host numerous events each year, but none create the pride and emotion of the IMEX Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces last night. Hope to see you next year! #imex24 #eventprofs

Gala dinner, anyone? See you at the Alte-Oper later! #IMEX23

Heading to #IMEX23 next week in Frankfurt? 🇩🇪 I’m delighted to be hosting the gala dinner on Wednesday and look forward to catching up with old friends. Safe journey, everyone.

It great to be with @EuropeCongress again, this time presenting & acting as MC for their MCE North & West Europe event in Porto, Portugal. Over 10+ years I’ve presented at what must be 15-20 of their high quality business events. #MCEportogaia

Work commitments mean I can’t be in Vegas this week. Wishing everyone a super time at #IMEX22!

Many of you will know about my passion for football. However, most of you won’t know that I have a little hobby of writing lighthearted poems about my team. I was delighted to be asked onto @SkySportsNews this morning to read one. #NationalPoetryDay

Ready to present on the subject of Meetology tomorrow here in Prague. Sharing the science behind why humans are social creatures, the benefits of interacting face-to-face when doing business and how to do it really, really well. #eventsclubforum #psychology #behaviouralscience

A warning for anyone with connecting flights that involve swapping terminals at London Heathrow. Having flown in overnight from Dallas earlier & despite @HeathrowAirport having SIX HOURS to transfer my luggage from T5 to T3 they didn’t manage it. Now in Prague. And smell.

A bit of R&R at @TheBocaRaton here in Florida after a busy couple of weeks. Heading back to Tulsa later this afternoon before I fly back to Europe to present next week. #bocaraton #florida #chillin #keynotespeaker

It was a great honour to open proceedings this morning here in Florida at the 2022 @DSAssn Conference. Super audience, super event. Back live for the first time since 2019 👊🏻 #science #business #event #facetoface #keynotespeaker #psychology #behavioralscience

Florida looking it’s best after the storm has passed. Looking forward to speaking tomorrow to 500 direct sales professionals on how humans connect, interact and communicate. #keynotespeaker @DSAssn

Seeing all the issues with flights at the moment I want to thank @AmericanAir. The fact I was late for my flight here in Frankfurt was my fault but you bent over backwards to get me to the US today and then Ft Lauderdale tomorrow. Thank you. 🙏✈️

Oh, IMEX! Last night’s gala was so great I missed my flight to Dallas this morning! 😴🤷🏻‍♂️☺️ Now heading straight to Ft. Lauderdale to speak on Monday. Great to see so many friends and colleagues again. Have a great final day. @IMEX_Group #IMEX22
