so after one full week with the iPhone Duo, i gotta say it feels so weird holding the Pro back, that thing is slowly becoming my favorite device around
folks, y’all need to chill. work in whatever lets you express yourself and create your best work. figma, paper, code, or whatever the hell you want it to be. it’ll always be outcomes over outputs
24 hours with the iPhone duo:
- what a gorgeous piece of hardware
- phenomenal for reading and keeping an eye on codex and claude sessions
- surprisingly solid speakers
- i miss face id, and plenty of apps are still buggy
- a tad heavier than i’d like
still feels like a glimpse into the future of iOS
some rough edges here n there, but my website works almost almost perfectly out of the box on the iPhone duo, also, the speakers on that thing are pretty great
today is a good reminder to ask yourself, do you really need a custom tab bar/view when you work on iOS apps
