HTMA is something I've been trying to learn into, to help people as serum measurements and urinary metal excretions aren't that good (as far as I can novicely understand it) compared to HTMA

Autism is systemic elemental disruption.
No single nutrient deficiency, excess, imbalance in a ratio or toxic metal fully initiates or causes the disorder.
Wide-ranging and deep imbalances across the entire ionome (mineral system) manifest simultaneously and result in the disorder.
That said, there are 5 or 6 prominent imbalances/toxicities across the ionome (mineral system) that we observe in almost every single one of our clients in our recently launched mineral balancing for autism program.
On this hair tissue mineral analysis we see one such imbalance play out more prominently here than any other on the test.
It is the imbalance in the calcium/magnesium ratio.
Ideal for this ratio in human beings is 6.67.
On this test we see a ca/mg ratio of 42. Almost 7x or 700% of normal.
This is in an 11-year old child; a curiously bad reading for someone so young.
Normally, we can ascribe a variety of potential reasons for this ratio being this perturbed in adults; usually related to blood sugar problems (insulin handling), lifestyle imbalances and others.
However, especially in kids, where lifestyle imbalances are less likely, the cause for this ratio being this imbalanced is usually biochemical in nature.
And itโs not only the ratio being off in the diet that drives the ratio being off on the hair test, tho that may influence it as well.

A lot of research has correlated aluminum toxicity manifestations to a calcium/magnesium ratio imbalance becuase of what the metal does to these two elements once inside the body, via ionic mimicry.
(It also has profoundly negative effects on iron, phosphorus, zinc etc)
Aluminum substitutes for calcium in bone and displaces it, leading to directly, in many cases, tissue calcification; or calcium building up in tissues it should not be in.
Like the hair versus the bones/teeth.
Aluminum also substitutes for magnesium on ATPase, dramatically lowering energy production.
We see on this test, an elevated aluminum reading, confirming the presence of aluminum at the same time we observe the ca/mg ratio be wildly out of balance.
In instances where this ratio is this elevated, it is usually the case that even though the magensium level is ideal, a functional deficiency of the element may be present.
Or symptoms of a magensium deficiency may exist despite the magensium level being ideal.
Such is the nature of functional nutrient deficiencies and ratios of these elements being out of balance.
We can glean much more information from these test readings when we take into account this more nuanced view of mineral and metal interactions.
So from this reading alone we may infer:

The HTMA is a much more useful test than the medical establishment and other holistic practioners would have you believe.
Be on the lookout for much more on these themes as we progress in our mineral balancing for autism program.
So far, we have many children already eliminating aluminum and other metals on their second hair tests in this 12-month cohort.

Some very interesting data that we've captured from our recently launched mineral balancing for autism program.
"Does it work?"
Do you mean:
- does it just change a number on a lab test
- does it make me feel 'better' or 'what people say it does (which is also vague as everyone's experiences are subject to be bioindividually different)
- does it change a number, but doesn't make me feel anything (better or worse)
- does it not change a number, but makes me feel something (better or worse)
See how there's 4 interpretations
"Does it work?" Is on the same line of poor questioning as "Thoughts (on X?)"
Save the questioner and yourself some time, while also showing you can think better for and of yourself
And if I do "too much" forced lymphatic drainage on him in a day, he becomes a biohazard and makes both of us break out in an itchy rash, coughing, and congestion. Horrifying.
We have no idea what his body is currently trying to kick out.
Theres now "extra skin" behind his ears
