Two minute timeout here. Mavs forced a LCP punt and have the ball, looking to score before the end of the half. 7-3, LCP leads. #MavsOnTop

FUMBLE! MAVS BALL! 2:14 to play, 98 yards to tie it for the Mavs

FINAL MAVS - 13 Wylie - 27 Mavs let one slip away from them. Feel like they absolutely had a shot in this one and Wylie dominated the final 24 minutes. Mavs have a bye next week and then will take on the District favorite Palo Duro. #MavsOnTop

HALFTIME MAVS - 13 Wylie - 13 We’re all evened up in Abilene. Mavs defense has been outstanding and the offense has moved the ball well. Big second half coming up. Birkhead - 193 yds, 1 TD G. Wuthrich - 82 rush yds, 37 receiving Foster - 9 rec, 107 yds #MavsOnTop

Gavin Blackaby’s field goal from 45 yards out is good with plenty of distance left on it. Mavericks catch a huge break by forcing 3 after a blocked punt and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Wylie leads 13-6, 4:43 in 2Q. #MavsOnTop

END 1Q Mavs - 6 Wylie - 10 A lot more defense than expected so far. Looks like this will be another good game between these two squads. #MavsOnTop
