There’s a lot of reasons that I’m looking forward to the day I can move into the US.
And I feel like the opportunity to escape is shrinking, at some point it’ll become financially impossible to thrive enough to escape.
European hiring rules are genuinely insane.
For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years.
If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!
Funny tweet, but now I’m more curious if someone is man enough to port back Sonic 1 GBA onto the Genesis with AI, then use that to port it back again to the GBA, then back to Genesis again, etc

The boss remix is going well enough.
Like all bosses in the game during development, their difficulty fluctuates between "can't hit a fly" and "cancerous spawn of hell", and I'm trying to get it in an acceptable middle.
I think my Grok Bot, after being forced to work on VRM enhancements for so long is becoming a rocket scientist of the waifu. Like, did it really need to build a graph to explain the ripple effects on the butt physics?

It's producing some INCREDIBLE results. Like, I think you'll be able to turn VRoid models into something that could compete (physics wise) with the most veluptous custom made models at this rate...

I totally forgot there was an unused attack for the beginner course boss (in their EX form).
I remember the attack hitboxes themselves were the issue.
Since the new boss is basically a mod of that boss, hmm... Maybe I could bring it back?

ALT Several game characters gather around a huge domed pile of small objects, apparently trying to find one specific thing within it. It's a needle in a haystack scenario - which is exactly what the game is called. A Steam logo is overlaid over the top.
Yep, as confirmed I’ll stay on track for Halloween.
But I think I might do a Christmas gift with the missing things I wanted to add as a truly final “ok for real now no regrets leaving the game in that state now”… especially with the upcoming physics tweaks to the assets. :)

My composer got the music track done, so I just need to finish the boss fight, a few more little things like hooking in a new leaderboard, and it should be good to go.
I think the best approach would be to see how it's received (and if it somehow leads to more online traction about the game as a result 🤑), or to throw the additional content at a later point (maybe christmas?)

I mean, it’s not like there’s much to do to make them playable…
I even added finger posing markers to the swifty cool animation editor.
The new character's animations have all been exported through it as a testing ground, but for the next game all animations will be sent through here.
