‘You’re just an AI HATER!’
No. AI is software without intelligence or function. If you run a localised LLM on your pc and train it on open source data and your own work, I’m happy for you to do so.
I’m even happy for you to use it to generate assets and shit for stuff you make. Because everything it manufactures comes from shit you have ownership of or permission to use.
I love the idea of localised AI as a support tool for streamlining work output.
What I hate is the intentional misuse of the technology by morally and ethically bankrupt supercorpos, the intrinsic data scraping practices employed therein that turns my private searches into data commodities, in addition to the wilful destruction of fiscal, land and water resources trying to chase the big AI money.
The software isn’t the issue. You people who insist on abusing the technology are.

samloader-rs 2.2.0 is out!
For this release, I tasked AI agents with reverse-engineering Samsung’s official Odin4 binary alongside bootloaders across multiple device eras to build a (hopefully) rock-solid, accurate firmware-flashing implementation.
There are also plenty of smaller goodies, fixes, and features packed into this build—check out the full changelog below.
Even bigger things are in the pipeline for this project. Stay tuned! 😁

The Architects.
A name given to an ancient empire that once spanned nearly the entire galaxy, as evidenced by the countless sites and discoveries.
Ruins and remnants can be found across a great number of star systems. Even the smallest artifact is of inestimable value: the slightest recovered data, the merest device still in working condition would be enough to grant a decisive technological leap to any empire that claimed it.
Possessing technology that appeared among the most advanced ever developed, the Architects’ empire seems to have collapsed upon itself without warning and without any coherent explanation, even as excavations showed them at the very height of their civilization.
There are no bodies. No mummies. No bones.
The Architects appear to have simply vanished.
Or perhaps… not all of them.
