I really love how this moment in owners ages like fine wine, not only does it have really good gaster characterization but it also just fits really well with the overall narrative that’s being built up around xgaster. (Their interaction in 0.7 is great as well)

I applaud jakei for not only animating fresh ink, but animating fresh ink in a fight against error (who uses a completely different animation style). Like damn I know this had to have been insanely difficult to animate for 0.7. 😭

I really like the decision to make ink straight up “part of the story” for the rest of the series bc it helps inks actions feel more genuine, he’s not just doing this to protect an au/timeline, he’s doing it to also save everyone. Really helps with the whole redemption arc

I can’t wait to see how their dynamic develops because it’s obvious that ink will still continue his attempts at reasoning with xgaster no matter how much xgaster tries to push everyone away. They are so doomed (friendship wise) 💔💔💔 (also classic is so concerned it’s funny)

One of my favorite parts about 0.6 is this scene with Dream. The fact that dreams response works perfectly for both xgaster and cross during the first part is genuinely fantastic writing and should be brought up more. (This episode is very cream coded as well tbh lol)

I was rewatching underverse earlier today and wow the difference in quality from the first episode of season 1 compared to the first episode of season 2 is like night and day. Jakei has come so far in terms of animation and talent.

The quality jump from 0.4 to 0.5 is still so crazy to me. Like the animation was already pretty solid but it just cranks it up to 11 from 0.5 onwards. I especially love the shading done in this scene with the xtale gang.

I think smts these beliefs come from ppl forgetting that the multiverse in Underverse was already dying before the series even started. Hell, half of the AUs were wiped out by their own creators and Error gained easy access to the rest of them too. Ofc he's going to take- (1/8)

I find it funny that people always over exaggerate the differences underverse ink has compared to canon ink bc it ends up with them mischaracterizing underverse ink. No he isn’t some pure evil gremlin, and no he isn’t perfect either.
