I got a takedown notice from Capcom IP / Legal today. No more Street Fighter 6 on UFD / ultimateframedata. Not my choice, sorry everyone :\

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us. I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.

Every single Resto Druid I've done keys with this season is a bawler. The WoW player meta hivemind is so absurd, every group leader questions it when I tell them to invite the RDruid. Sometimes they even kick me for suggesting (lol). But every time, the RDruids come through.

It was a huge missed opportunity to not tie Q'onzu in with the haranir to explain the plot point from 10.2 that trolls had never heard of them, yet Q'onzu says they got their loa title from their "first followers."

The kids are alright.
I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.

I had been thinking about maybe putting some time in to Arjun, but for some unknown reason I just don't have the desire to boot up SF6 🤔

Todays video is LIVE and lets talk about the story of Capcom inexplicably sending Legal Threats to a Street Fighter community website over sharing hitbox/hurtbox data, what is even going on here? >>> youtu.be/hfBMuiLzaJw youtu.be/hfBMuiLzaJw <<<

Nobody wants to farm 50 venom stones 9 weeks into the season. They really need to stop with the mid-season boosts. I know it’s an attempt to retain the playerbase longer in the season but there are better ways. Would have rather had big player power attached to the labyrinth.

Dude was in over 400 movies. He did EVERYTHING. Big action films, indie horror, tv. Before Ari Aster broke in, Richard Riehle would lead one of his short films the same year he was in 13 movies. He could hold his own with any A-lister. One of the most reliable men in Hollywood

I seriously miss the days of classic skill expression where 80% of my combat encounters was wanding enemies. Stick to retail crybabies!!!
This to me is the nail in the coffin that finally shuts up the retail babies. multi r1 pvper and blizzcon champion gets obliterated by a no namer and blaming no counter play? Stick to retail crybaby and leave classic for the adults.

Ben Affleck says AI is simply matrix multiplication, linear algebra and floating point calculations, and however convincingly it sounds like a person, it has nothing to do with thought, humanity or feeling “Nor do I believe, and I think it’s important to draw the distinction between what AI does, which is simply predict the next token or the next word in a sentence, then add that word on, run it back to the machine, do a lot of computation and pick the next word." "That is a very different thing than sentience or thought. And I think we need to be really clear about that because it can be convincingly, in an illusory way, sound like thought or like a person." "But let’s be real clear. This is matrix multiplication. This is linear algebra. These are floating point calculations. It has nothing to do with thought, humanity, or feeling.”
Ben Affleck reveals he writes Python, understands convolutional neural networks, worked extensively with GPUs, and used his celebrity status to get private looks at Google and OpenAI’s video models “I’ve always been kind of into computers since I was young. Then, when film started to move from analog film to digital, I became more interested in that aspect of it. The visual-effects workflow for many years has included machine learning, so I can write pretty shitty Python scripts and stuff like that. “With convolutional neural networks, which were the precursors to what the transformer can do, which is much more computation simultaneously, you would do things like look at what’s called a tensor. That’s the numerical translation of a visual image in numbers, like the batch number, the frame number and the red, green and blue values of each pixel in each frame. It’s just that simple. That numeric is called a tensor. “You’d use a convolutional neural network to identify patterns that reveal what’s called edge detection or feature extraction, which is identifying patterns well enough to know, this is where the window ledge is, so we can more easily take the green-screen image out and replace it with something. “That was familiar to me early on because, prior to Artists Equity, I had a small visual-effects company. I’ve worked with GPUs a lot too. The visual-effects guys said, ‘Hey, you should see. There are a couple: Google and this other company, OpenAI, are doing really interesting stuff with transformers in video.’ “I’ve learned that I can actually just call up and go, ‘Hey, it’s Ben Affleck. Can I come see what you’re doing?’ Sometimes people say yes, to my astonishment.”
