99.99% of people on here have no idea what they’re talking about. The laity of the SSPX weren’t excommunicated for schism on July 1.
They’ve ALWAYS been “excommunicated” for schism lmao. The new document just reaffirms the 1993 decree of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts.
(Of course, schism doesn’t exist, so the excommunications are non-existent.)
