Transformational news at last for #MKA!
$MKAR's Form F-4 declared effective by the SEC, NASDAQ listing to go ahead. At the listing price of $10, Mkango's shares in MKAR will be worth circa 76p per MKA share. That's a 130% premium to MKA's current share price of 33p.
Then there's the downstream businesses, HyProMag and Remloy, which between them already boast 1,200 tpa capacity for NdFeB magnets and associated products. Mkango's fourth plant - the first to be built in the US by HyProMag USA - should also be online within 6 months.
The CritMin subsector has taken a hammering the past few months. The leading ETF, $REMX, hit a 15-month low on Tuesday. The market has evidently been pricing in both a potential thawing of geopolitical tensions between China and the US, as well as a potential slowdown of (or at least, hit to sentiment around) the AI trade (notably, data centre rollout in the US), in anticipation of the Democrats winning earlier in the week (which they did in spectacular fashion).
Personally, I think the general CritMinselloff has been completely overdone, and is very close to bottoming out now. Demand for NdFeB magnets is only going to increase exponentially over the medium- to long-term, especially with the dawn of robotics upon us.
As one of the lowest cost producers of NdFeB magnets, with patented technology that can be rolled out across the world (next up, Japan!), HyProMag is in an excepionally strong position.
Expecting MKA to hit the multi-£ range by the end of next year.
#MKA Delighted with today’s news and this really ought to mark the start of a re-rate to over £1 (now 33p). Even that would represent a very low valuation for the HyProMag interests
#MKA $MKAR 🚨
Fantastic news has finally arrived!
The SEC has approved the F4 for $MKAR Songwe Hill Rare Earths Project and Pulawy Processing Rare Earths Project
The biggest hurdle in any $NSDQ listing has been overcome, a monumental step change taking construction ready Songwe to market and developing it into a producing, secure, western supply of valuable and critical rare earths, with processing to take place (in due course) in Poland (with help from Carester)
The next step is a final, approval vote, and conclusion of the PIPE financing (explains the CEOS trip to Korea and Italy in recent weeks)
The listing, when it goes ahead, has a face value to #MKA of ~78p ($397m USD) which makes the recent sell off look even more unusual
This doesn’t factor in Mkangos 79.9% Holding in ‘Maginito’ aka HyProMag, of which a similar company targeting just 50tpa listed in recent months and valuation of $400m (HyProMag already has capacity for several hundred Tpa and expansion plans for low digit thousands Tpa)
Is the the moment #MKA starts to pass peers as the RE market begins its second wave with robotics, AI and magnet demand?
China’s suspension of its rare earth export controls expires on 10 November, just six days away.
The broader US-China trade truce runs until Jan. 10, 2027, following an agreement reached on Sept. 28. But the statement did not explicitly address the rare-earth controls, and no formal MOFCOM extension has been announced.
Unless the suspension is extended, the affected measures could resume on Nov. 11.

#BRES Cavendish’s target price offers around 700% upside

Cavendish’s target price for Blencowe Resources offers around 700% upside
Cavendish has this week released a multi-page research note on Blencowe Resources, the company developing the Orom-Cross graphite mine in Uganda.
View from Vox
Orom-Cross has so much going for it already, bringing in NASA almost looks like too much of a good thing. There’s DFC money involved, the potential to go to 2-3 billion tonnes of ore, lots of successful testwork to date, several off-take partners in place, and a definitive feasibility study that outlines just how profitable a mine could be. The next big news will be on development funding, and once that’s in place it will be much clear how the company plans to deliver on the value that Cavendish is pointing to.

I don’t see how this can be separated from the question of what happens in Iran. If peace were to break out with full resumption of shipping, there’s no doubt oil goes down. Theories that it still continues to go up are just magical thinking

Blencowe Resources receives final tranche of DFC grant money
Blencowe Resources has received the final tranche of grant funding from the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), bringing the total funds received under the technical assistance grant to US$5 million.
View from Vox
Orom-Cross is now significantly more advanced and de-risked compared to when the DFC programme began. Orom-Cross now combines scale, robust economics, independently validated graphite quality, a clear development pathway and multiple higher-value downstream opportunities. The next step is funding, and success in that will be the turning point for the project.

Worth reading this one properly. Japan is now telling DC it has months of #yttrium left, not years. Chinese exports to Japan have basically stopped and yttrium oxide is trading at $1,150/kg outside China. Inside China it's $9.
I've been in enough rooms over the last 6 months to know this isn't "new news" to the people who matter. Now a Japanese official is saying "how to survive next year" out loud in the FT.
Yttrium is a heavy rare earth. We have it in the monazite at Kasiya, alongside Dy and Tb, and we've spent a lot of time on it this year because of exactly this. Still a long way to go, but the demand side continues to get louder.

Anyone know an advanced project rich in Yttrium that the US government is all over…? @sovereignmetals Kasiya is the answer

You’ve really got to wonder how people are getting paid to “upgrade” prices that have already gone up and “downgrade” prices that have already gone down. A dog could get the hang of investment bank commodity price target setting

HOLY MAGNETS 🧲
There’s a bit of a RE sell off at the moment, but I would like to divert your attention to the basket split of Mkangos Songwe Hill Asset ($MKAR)
Note the key ingredient, Terbium…
As of the last week alone, Terbium is up a whopping 41%
But it was already skyrocketing this year due to impending export controls beginning January 2027
Terbium is a critical component in magnet manufacturing, used during GBD to ensure magnets can withstand extreme harsh environments
The updated DFS for Songwe, March 2026, used an Ex-China Terbium price of $1048 USD per KG
As of September 2026, that price Ex-China had reached over $5000 USD per KG and some markets were selling it at $12000 USD per KG
Anyway, what does this all mean, bottom line.
Well if at $1048, terbium contributed 6% to the entire basket value of Songwe, at $5000 that’s a lot more margin, and at $12000 we start to replicate the insane tungsten market
So, perhaps the RE sell off is a little premature, or perhaps investors need to focus on those who have access to Terbium, among anything else.

#CAML Decent operating results. Exploration project probably not a go-er based on initial results. I’d stick one more hole into the middle of the target and unless that’s much better don’t waste any more money on it
