Its funny when fans depict Samus fitting into her suit, regardless of whether she is 6'3 or less, and it just doesn't work because of the shoulder pad and chest area. Maybe in her Super Metroid suit because it looks compact, but later titles made the chest piece wider.

The lack of a proper looking endoskeleton between the armor joints and gaps is why this new design looks flat. Where previous armors showed depth between the plating and endoskeleton, ravenous slims down the armor to the endoskeleton level and it starts looking less like armor.

It's no surprise that Mercury Steam, a lid studio in lib hell Spain, would get rid of whatever was left of Samus's plump thigh and cheek armor and slim it down to a plank. They will not leave anything to the imagination. It's not a stretch to say they hate Samus.
