The last high king tides of this cycle are expected to peak today, October 30 at 1:07 p.m., with the next cycle beginning Friday, November 6. Water levels may remain elevated for 1.5 to 2 hours before and after peak tide times, with flooding conditions varying by location. Avoid walking, driving or parking in low-lying areas when possible. If you must drive, slow down. Waves and wake from fast‑moving cars can worsen flooding on neighborhood streets and impact homes. Residents who wish to move their vehicles out of flood-prone areas may park in participating municipal garages at no cost through Saturday, October 31 at 8 a.m. (subject to availability). Proof of Miami Beach residency is required upon exit. Read for more information and the list of participating garages: conta.cc/4Bxq8bx For more information on king tides, flooding and flood preparedness, visit miamibeachfl.gov/flood

This Halloween the scariest thing you can be is a drunk driver. 👻 If you plan to drink, plan not to drive. Designate a sober friend, use a rideshare or call a loved one for a safe ride home. Remember, buzzed driving is drunk driving.
