Amen. Thankful for an administration thst honors Christ and his church.
Presidential Message on Reformation Day: From the earliest days of our Republic, prayer and faith in Almighty God have stood as the foundation of our strength, the source of our unity, and the fount of our greatness. This Reformation Day, I send my best wishes to the countless Christians across our country commemorating the Protestant Reformation and its enduring message of salvation by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Five hundred years ago, William Tyndale — inspired by the work of Martin Luther — advanced the Protestant Reformation’s devotion to Holy Scripture through the publication of the first New Testament printed in English, shaping the language of the Bibles that would fortify the faith and resolve of America’s founding generation.  The Sacred Scriptures helped form the religious convictions that formed our young Nation’s founding ideals of God-given rights and individual liberty, a spiritual inheritance we honor as we continue to reflect on 250 glorious years of American Independence. The Bible remains a cornerstone of our Nation’s character and upholds our steadfast devotion to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Guided by an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, my Administration is working to restore the moral and religious foundations that have sustained our Republic for generations. As President, I will always support citizens of faith and defend their place in the public square, honoring the enduring role of our churches in strengthening families, serving communities, and preserving the core values that have anchored us across the centuries. As Christians across our country unite in faith and fellowship this Reformation Day, I send my heartfelt prayers for a meaningful celebration and encourage each of you to draw renewed strength from God’s Word as we carry forward the blessings of faith and freedom throughout our beloved Nation. whitehouse.gov/briefings-sta…

To buy or to build. The answer aspiring entrepreneurs give to that question should be the result of deep reflection. Many are better suited to buy. But is now the time?

"Not yet" is a valid answer to "Should I buy a business?" It can save you money, strain at home, and a search you weren't ready for. If you're asking that question, I built a free self-assessment to help you get an honest answer either way.

Buying a boring business while keeping your W-2? Price in the manager who runs it while you're at work. Cash flow after that salary is the number your loan has to clear.
Just ripped a 60 minute podcast 40 minutes spent talking about proper water filtration licensing 10 minutes about buying a boring business as a w-2 employee 9 minutes about which day trading course to buy 1 minute about Christmas lights and Facebook ads Ur gonna love it

In diligence, notice who fixes problems without the owner. If every issue still rolls up to the seller, you're not buying a team, you're buying the seller's job, so plan for that before close.
All employees come in 5 levels, choose wisely: Level 1 - tells you there's a problem Level 2 - tells you there's a problem and what caused it Level 3 - tells you there's a problem, what caused it, and options to fix it Level 4 - tells you there's a problem, what caused it, options to fix it, and which one they'd pick Level 5 - tells you there was a problem, what caused it, how they fixed it, and future proof’d it

Upper Echelons Theory and ETA were both born in 1984 and have barely talked since. My SSRN working paper argues single-searcher ETA is one of the clearest tests of how leaders shape organizations, with the inherited org as the key caveat.

A seller note in the equity means less cash at closing, but a longer tail of payments. My free Simple Acquisition Model shows both paths side by side. Scorecard and research summary included. As always, this is educational only, not financial advice.

Had the best bench session in a while since switching from the cut to a bulking phase. Hit 300 x 8 x 6 x 7 all reps with a comp pause. Bodyweight around 205 currently. @KeckForKY crushed his session too. Doesn't get much better than brothers clanging the iron together 😁

1.25x DSCR is a lender floor, not a margin of safety. My free scorecard marks it yellow: green above 1.5x, red below 1.25x. Plus a simple acquisition model and a research summary. Educational, not advice.

Before "What should I buy?" ask "Am I ready to buy anything yet?" Three checks: 1. Do you know your true burn rate, not just your salary? 2. Can you handle identity risk, not just financial risk? 3. Is this "our decision" at home, or "my project"?

Most searches are won or lost before the LOI. The months between "I want to buy a business" and a signed LOI get far less attention than they deserve. A few things I'd encourage any searcher to do early:

Treat the first seller conversation as a conversation, not an interview. Sellers choose buyers, not just offers.

I built the Search Playbook & Deal Flow to cover this stretch: a 14-tab workbook, a 29-page guide, and templates (owner letters, broker notes, first-call guide, sample LOI), all following one fictional deal to a signed LOI. mikekeck.gumroad.com/l/eta-s…
