Percent of Louisville households that do not even own a single car. When you build only for cars instead of transit, bikes, and walking options across the county, you are leaving up to 50% of households behind and unsafe. Based on 2022 Census tract data:

A new bike/scooter corral got installed by my apartment, which is nice, but it took drivers one (1) week to knock over all its flex posts

And Republicans want you to believe there's no money for affordable health care.
The war with Iran has cost the U.S. military at least $47.1 billion as of mid-October, according to a new estimate from U.S. Central Command obtained by CBS News. cbsn.ws/4zYS1rn

As promised... here's a look at a random afternoon at Cherokee and Willow in Louisville.
Trying to mark all the traffic violations that would get you a ticket with an ❌. Too many overlapping to get them all. Was generous though with some "better" driving marked with a ✅.

Look at these poor @Collegiate1915 children waiting for car drivers to let them go and having such long crossing distances at this badly designed, super wide 5-6 road intersection right next to two parks. I was worried they would get hit by a driver.

Nobody who's traveled, even via aerial maps, needs to be told that this is the USA🇺🇸.
1. Freeway walling off river.
2. Vast freeway interchange maximizing waste of valuable urban land.
3. Extensive surface parking.
I know this city, but it's also almost every US city.

That's over 29 thousand households/families in the county with no car. About 1 in 10 households in Louisville do not own a vehicle and get around by foot, bike, scooter, bus, or ride share. Are our streets built to be safe for those children, elderly, & families outside of cars?

🚘Checked Waymo pricing on Saturday night at 6 pm on my way to dinner and Waymo was charging $71.99 for a ride - one of the highest per mile prices I’ve seen here in LA. I then checked other apps and the same route on Lyft Black was $38.42 and Uber Black was $33.97.
What’s interesting is that when I flipped back to Waymo, the price went down to $19.93 - one of the lowest per mile prices I’ve seen! Not sure if it was a glitch or they knew I was checking prices on competitors but guess it always pays to shop around 🙂

e-bike and e-scooter collisions with…?
E-bike & e-scooter collisions are up over 30% this year. More than half of e-bike rider deaths from 2017 to 2025 involved illegal bikes going over 25 mph.
Today at City Hall, we're hearing from DOT, NYPD, delivery workers & advocates, while considering legislation that would:
✅ Create a trade-in program to get illegal e-bikes off our streets
✅ Stop illegal mopeds from being sold
✅ Set safe delivery time standards so no worker has to race the clock
City with the population of Louisville.
DENVER IS TURNING THE PARKING LOTS AROUND BALL ARENA INTO AN ENTIRE CITY.
The 55-acre redevelopment could deliver:
• 6,000 homes
• 10–12M square feet of mixed-use development
• Shops, offices and hotels
• 10 acres of parks
• Up to six new pedestrian and bike bridges
The deal also keeps the Nuggets and Avalanche downtown through 2050.
This is the future of urban arenas: homes, businesses and public spaces that remain alive long after the final buzzer.
Every sea of stadium parking in America should take notes.
