Here's my sci-fi series about a lab that sends people back in time to solve mysteries. If you try to search for it, Amazon annoyingly autocorrects my name to MacBeth, then tries to sell you a Shakespearean death card game that looks awesome.

Still time to contribute to this project!
Back in 2013, @MichelleAMcBeth shared an idea for a novel she was procrastinating, so I bet her $100 she wouldn't complete #NaNoWriMo.
She won the bet, creating the first book in her #selfpublished #scifi series, The Sphere Saga.
Here we are, 11 yrs later:

Check out a review from one of my #SPSFC4 teammates
I have my first review up for #SPSFC4 today and it's for Umbra by Amber Toro 💫
Check it out here >> quintessentiallybookishblog.…

ALT Flatlay of light blue samsung phone displaying the cover of Umbra by Amber Toro. A gold strip of ribbon twists behind and around the phone and small gold star sequins are also scattered all around it. To the left is a book open to drawings of different spaceships and across the bottom of the shot another book, open to black and white endpapers of a space scene is partially visible.

A fox just crossed the road in front of me and my husband. It stopped to pee directly on a man hole cover. I think it's well potty trained. My husband says it was probably marking its territory. I prefer my explanation.

Are there any companies in the Northern Virginia area that are doing regular-ass software development? Not consulting. Not "data science". I want nothing to do with any "platforms".
My 8 yo started playing Portal for the first time. Today I asked him if he found the cake yet. He got excited and told me "not yet!"
Now I feel bad.
My kids are digging up bricks in the yard and making a wall. Cause what else do you do in the suburbs?
Not used to so much nature in my backyard. #redfox
Sci Fi writer friends check it out!

Who's ready? #SPSFC4

The thing about getting ready to move is that you're only thinking about the stuff you can see and the stuff you can remember. If you're particularly sharp, you know there's stuff you don't remember. But behind that, there's stuff you never knew you ever had. Once that's out of the way, you get to the stuff you never knew could even exist. And then finally, you hit bedrock, your sanity breaks, and when you wake up you find yourself in your new home with no idea where the forks are.
