If we had another 10 years of Trump's immigration/deportation policies, we might begin to have a country again.
President Trump has made terrible blunders, yet he has also done something no president did for 100 years.

Before Hollywood, I was living in a van in Hawaii and waiting tables at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. One day, the incredible Rae Dawn Chong walked into the restaurant, and naturally, I went up to her table and said, “Hey, you’re a movie star! What are you doing here?” She asked if I could act, and I said, “Fuck yeah, put me in your movie!” She asked for my phone number. The only problem was I didn’t have one. So I gave her my buddy Mike’s number instead. A couple days later, Mike casually mentions, “Oh, by the way, someone called you.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME, MIKE?! I called her back, and sure enough, she was serious. I drove over to pick up the script, went back to Mike’s house, and read all 120 pages three times in a row. First script I’d ever read. My character's name was Devon, and I remember thinking, “Sweet! I could totally play a Devon!” I showed up to the audition with every line and inflection mapped out in pencil. Rae told me I could act and offered me the part. I asked if we were shooting in Hawaii. Nope. Los Angeles. I had about $60 to my name, a bag of clothes, and some rollerblades. Then Rae told me they'd fly me out. And I remember thinking right then and there, my life just changed forever. I'm going to be an actor. That little movie was Cursed Part 3, a low-budget horror comedy that opened the door to Hollywood for me. I'll forever be grateful to Rae for taking a chance on a kid working at a shrimp restaurant. Everybody starts somewhere, and this is where it all began for me.

🚨Report: Texas Republican Congressman Pete Sessions is demanding that President Trump change his stance on immigration “He’s going to have to reevaluate some of the ideas that he thinks that he and the administration have about immigration. I think that immigration is something we have not been able to clearly understand.”

There was a huge New York Times (!) story about outright voter fraud in Alaska, but you know what the big issue is? Republicans.
The reality is that Google and Apple have been protecting us from the predatory grift of Republican consultants. The data now definitively shows that the Republican politicians who let this happen for their benefit have actually allowed the consultant class to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

MN Secretary of State Steve Simon on charging me with a felony. Mr. Simon, every time someone has sued or tried to arrest me, it has backfired. Because of 1st amendment fundamentals. The process will not be my punishment. I wiIl have fun with the process, exposing injustice.
Today’s charges send a message to those who would disrupt our elections through deceit at polling places: It’s your constitutional right to make any political point you want, but don’t break our laws to do it.

I’m proud to have the most talented, hardest-working cabinet in Virginia’s history. They are also the most diverse cabinet Virginia has ever seen. Every single one of our cabinet secretaries were selected because they’re the best of the best in their respective fields. They also bring invaluable perspectives from across the Commonwealth — from Danville, Hampton Roads, Richmond, NOVA, and more. I’m grateful to get to work with these incredibly dedicated, hard-working, and talented cabinet officials to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia. richmond.com/opinion/column/…

This is completely untrue. The Castle was VDARE's HQ and conference venue, purchased because hotels repeatedly cancelled our events under communist pressure, "handout money" was normal salaries, "shell companies" were normal liability management. READ vdare.com/articles/vdare-com…

Tell you the scene in the book The Far Side of the World (10th in the series), and you tell me if you prefer the movie Master and Commander. Movie: Hollum is shunned in a womanly way by the crew, frets, and then kills himself as a modern might. We see the funeral below, in which Captain Aubrey tells the crew not to be mean girls. The wind picks up after the Amen, signaling what a great idea this pathetic suicide was. Book: Hollum is a down-on-his-luck midshipman taken in by Captain Aubrey. He sings well, and is not especially disliked or disrespected save once by newcomers to the ship (the one scene in the film the same as in the book). Hollum is thought to be unlucky and not a true seaman - but he is envied. Turns out the master gunner took his 19 year-old far too shapely wife with him, and Hollum was cavorting with her, singing his songs to her. The gunner is impotent, though monstrous in size and dangerous temperament. All on board except the gunner, Captain Aubrey, and the chaplain know about the affair. Hollum impregnates the wife, who procures an abortion from Dr Maturin's assistant. This almost kills her. However, she recovers. Somehow the gunner finally pegs the scene. When the ship stops on a small Pacific island, the gunner disappears with Hollum and his wife. He returns to the ship with bloody clothes, quiet and lowering. He goes mad. Finally the doctor is asked and tells Aubrey that the crew believes the gunner was within his rights to kill the pair. Then the gunner, who realizes about the abortion, threatens the doctor, but realizes it must have been the assistant. Meanwhile, for sport, the captain of the Marines shoots a baby manatee (or the like) which is swimming with its mother by the ship. Off scene, we learn the gunner offered the doctor's assistant a "Jonah's lift" (drowned him). That night, Killick comes into Aubrey's captain saying the gunner "hanged hisself". As they cut the body down, a loud eerie bone-chilling wailing circles the ship. The wailing goes on and on, terrorizing all aboard. The men will not search the ship in the dark for the doctor's assistant. Then comes the morning and the wind. Now your vote.

The big question is whether America's center-left Establishment, embodied in the Democratic Party, New York Times, academia, federal workers, NGOs, Democratic-appointed judges, etc. have actually learned from their embarrassing 2013-2024 failures, or merely memoryholed it all?
.@Steve_Sailer makes a great point about The New York Times's endorsement of Democrats for the midterm elections: Namely, that the Times is talking about basically none of the issues that were supposedly all-important back in 2020. Zero mentions of "racism." No mentions of "trans" or "LGBTQ." The only use of "white" is for the White House rather than "white supremacy." In 2020, Trump's crackdown on the border and immigration was "cruel" and proved him a "racist demagogue," but the far greater crackdown of 2026 receives almost no comment other than brief complaints about ICE's conduct. It's almost like the Times let itself get sucked into an insane moral frenzy they now want everyone to forget about. nytimes.com/2026/10/27/opini…

It's a slow self-inflicted delegitimization of the federal government. We'll see if they take this to the "fast" phase.
