To understand something of what took place on 9/11, you need to know about Operation Northwoods which was concocted by the US Chiefs of Staff under JFK’s presidency. JFK was appalled at the idea of Operation Northwoods but would have recognised it if he had lived to witness 9/11.
So pleased for Elena Rybakina and her victory at the US Open. She has shown that talent, composure & sportsmanship can conquer all. It’s taken a few years for her to fully realise her potential since winning @Wimbledon but she persevered and never gave up. Long may she continue.

It could be that Ferrari are working to protect Michael Schumacher’s legacy and working to ensure that Lewis Hamilton doesn’t win his eighth world championship. Leclerc helping them do it? A horrible, toxic and wholly negative team situation for @LewisHamilton to be in.

This interview is well worth a listen, as it gives really important context to what was actually happening on the neonatal unit back in 2015.
Michelle is open and down-to-earth about how years of NHS restructuring and post downgrades gradually stripped away specialist nursing skills on the ward. By 2015, the unit was at absolute breaking point; severe short-staffing left nurses on their knees and overwhelmed by heavy workloads, which made delivering safe care a massive struggle and set the stage for the spike in deaths.
What makes her account so powerful though is she actually knows the some of the nurses who worked alongside Lucy personally and they’ve shared their experiences with her first hand. She describes their total shock and confusion at Lucy’s arrest, as they knew her as both a diligent nurse and a good friend. On top of that, bringing decades of her own clinical experience to the table, Michelle candidly explains why the prosecution’s medical theories just don't make sense to anyone who actually knows the job.

Another interesting tidbit. Hughes was trying to bribe Hubert Humphrey. Maheu was to be the courier. Humphrey said he refused it but Maheu said he threw it into the limo before Humphrey drove off. I think Maheu lied and just kept the cash!

These are not wildfires in Algeria, Croatia, Canada, or Spain… this is what Israel is doing, burning village after village in southern Lebanon, while the world remains silent!
Israel has destroyed, burned, and occupied 10 additional villages in southern Lebanon despite signing a US-sponsored framework agreement.
More than 16,000 hectares have been entirely burned, including over 120 hectares of centuries-old olive groves to ashes in southern Lebanon, estimated to be 300-1000 years old.
These are war crimes under international law: Wanton devastation not justified by military necessity; also an act of genocide according to Article Il of the UN Genocide Convention. Yet, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights does not view them as war crimes—just as he saw no genocide in Gaza!

Nixon tried to blackmail CIA Director Richard Helms with the JFK assassination into claiming the Watergate break-in was a CIA operation. Helms was furious, but would not comply. McCord wrote a friend at CIA that if Helms was fired, “every tree in the forest will fall.” Nixon fired Helms, and the CIA fired Nixon.
