“The road that matters to every Lagosian is the roaf in front of their house.
➡️ I will work with the local governments, LCDAs, and the Lagos State Public Works Corporation to ensure that we effectively fix all our inner roads.
➡️ I am going to reconstruct major roads serving different parts of Lagos, such as the Mushin-Itire Road, Agelesho-Erekiti Road in Badagry, Alaba International Road, Ijede Road in Ikorodu, and many others.
➡️ I am going to complete the Lekki Regional Road and commence Phase Two of the Opebi Link Bridge, which will connect to the Second Axial Road.
➡️ I am going to increase the number of BRT buses from 1,000 to 4,000.
➡️ I am also going to commence the 4th Mainland bridge through a PPP arrangement.
➡️ I am going to complete the Blue Line and Red Line interchange station.
➡️I will work with the Federal Government to deliver the Green Line from Marina to the Lekki Free Trade Zone.
➡️ I am also going to upgrade the waterways by building new ferry terminals to ensure that the waterways serve as a third highway.”

Every day, millions of Lagosians depend on farmers, fishermen, processors, transporters,traders and retailers to put food on the table. We have begun the work.
✅ The Lagos Food Systems Infrastructure Company
(LAFSINCO) market modernization programme.
✅ The Produce-for-Lagos offtake guarantee. The Lagos Bulk Food Company.
✅ The Ekolog logistics system.
✅ The Lagos Rice Mill, Imota, Ounje Eko interventions and farmer support.
But the arithmetic is against us and we should say so. Lagos has the smallest land area of any Nigerian state and the largest population.
We consume enormous quantities of food and grow very little of it.
Food inflation, transport costs, post-harvest losses, climate pressure and supply-chain disruption all land on the household.
What we do have is a vast consumer market, a fast-
growing aquaculture sector, real entrepreneurial energy, expanding processing capacity and a strategic logistics position.
The challenge is not simply to grow more food; is to
build a food system.

Omo, the Federal Ministry of Works has already started piling work on the 1st Lagoon Bridge as part of the 7th Axial Road construction. 😱
There will be two bridges linking the Peninsula to Epe, providing another alternative route.
With the pace of construction on federal projects, this bridge could be ready within the next six months.
So beautiful to see!

Omo, over 50 bridges are going up on this Lekki Peninsula!
See another interchange rising here. By the time these interchanges and bridges are completed, commuting on this peninsula will be insane!
The amount of land these projects are opening up is under-discussed.
And then again, @SportingLagos needs to acquire land here and build a massive stadium through a PPP to host matches and other sporting events.
The Federal Government is really doing an amazing job.
The next governor has to hit the ground running from Day 1:
➡️ remodel the capital city, Ikeja
➡️ resurface Trunk B roads across all LGAs
➡️ improve greenery and rehabilitate the environment; and complete pending projects.
All these efforts will complement the beautiful things the Federal Government is doing on this side of Lagos.

FG to begin Construction of the Lekki Green Line Metro to in December 2026 starting from Phase 1A (Lekki phase 1- Sangotedo station)
Recall that the Federal Government had already provided its counterpart funding of ₦146.14 billion in the 2025 budget and ₦102.3 billion in the 2026 budget.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved the construction contract in April 2026, alongside rail projects in Kano and Kaduna.
All three projects are expected to cost approximately $3 billion, with construction scheduled to begin in December 2026 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Is the government not going to build this road?
The right-of-way is still reserved for it, and this road is supposed to be a massive catalyst for this axis and provide another superb alternative to the Lekki-Epe Expressway, straight to Lekki Phase 1 serving many important estates.
So, why the delay without any public statement? 🤔
📍 The VGC Bridge project, which started in 2020, has stalled.

Omo! Tomorrow is the day for one of Lagos's most anticipated manifestos.
Hope you people have your pens/pencils ready to underline and mark the very important parts of the manifesto that matter to you, because this one go pass textbook! 😅
There will be pictures of projects inside, omo!
If I no see my VGC Bridge and 4th Mainland Bridge inside, I go first burst out cry. 🫠
In all, I hope the next governor will focus heavily on massive road rehabilitation and urban renewal because you cannot achieve a $1 trillion economy with bad roads and neglected environment.
Proper environmental management, well-maintained roads, and increased investment in road infrastructure are some of the biggest drivers and catalysts of economic growth.
It works every single time! It's a massive hack.
When you improve people's lives, you trigger them to become far more productive.
Hopefully, all the candidates will also get to share their projects and plans with the public.
