Might and Magic The Card Game

Been deep in Axie for a while now (love the new Classic season and the Terarium stuff dropping), but I’ve been checking out Might & Magic Fates @MightMagicFates on the side and it’s been a really fun surprise. It’s a solid, well-rounded TCG set in the classic Might & Magic world. What stands out most is the unique gold/mana system ,your cards in hand actually generate resources each turn. It’s different from the usual land/ramp stuff and forces you to think about economy on deckbuld , but in a good weird kind of way. You can use other factions with penalty .. soon you will learn to cherry pick the outsiders. This really changes how you build and play. Matches are fast-paced, usually over in just a few minutes, but still feel tactical. Heroes level up mid-battle, you summon creatures, drop buildings, cast spells ...the whole package. Factions play pretty differently too, which is nice. It’s not purely free-to-play because it takes too long to build a colection only doing the free quests. If you’re just dipping in casually you can enjoy it, but the Heroes Pass definitely makes progression feel better if you plan to play regularly. With more missions and a good after lv100 loot. ( you get one free rare card per level after the 100th ) One tip that helped me early: you get a few starter decks pretty quick. Play them until you start getting the good cards from the free packs, instead forcing a faction.. go with the ones you pull good cards from. It makes learning the game way smoother. Overall I’m enjoying it as a chill alternative when I want something strategic but quick. If you like card games (Axie , Snap, Heartstone) it’s worth a try. Anyone else playing?
