The word "hero" is used too often in today's society. It was an honor to meet @GenFlynn, a man who truly deserves to be called a hero. His talk was inspiring! As he says, "Local action equals national impact!" We, the people, must become involved in our counties and states!

You can be for the Pro Choice Missouri Amendment 3 because you think it is an incremental win, ok fine. But please make sure you know exactly what you are voting on. It is a personal choice that I leave up to the individual voter and their relationship with the Lord.

A Father to the Fatherless: A Word to My Pro-Life Friends Voting Yes on Amendment 3
This morning my Bible study traced a theme that runs from Exodus to James: God's commitment to the vulnerable. He is "a father of the fatherless" (Psalm 68:5). He commands His people to "defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy" (Psalm 82:3). He tells us to open our mouths for those who cannot speak (Proverbs 31:8).
I know many of you voting Yes on Amendment 3 love these verses as much as I do. You believe this amendment will save children, and you want that badly. So do I. That's why I'm asking you to look closely at who Amendment 3 leaves out.
Amendment 3 doesn't simply repeal the 2024 amendment. It replaces it with new constitutional text saying abortion "may be performed or induced" in cases of rape and incest (through 12 weeks) and fetal anomaly. Consider who those children are.
The child conceived in rape is fatherless in the fullest sense, because the man responsible is the opposite of a protector. Scripture says "the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father" (Ezekiel 18:20). Amendment 3 says that child's protection depends on what his father did.
The child with a fatal diagnosis is the most afflicted person in the picture. Amendment 3 makes that affliction the reason to withdraw protection, and it doesn't even require a second opinion.
These children aren't left out by accident. They are the weakest, the most fatherless, and the most afflicted, exactly the ones Scripture tells us to defend first. Amendment 3 writes their protection out of our state's highest law.
Psalm 82 is addressed to rulers, and God's charge against them is partiality: "How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?" Writing an exception list into the constitution is partiality made permanent. You cannot build equal protection by first constitutionalizing unequal protection.
Yes voters have a serious answer, and I want to take it seriously. Proverbs 24:11 commands us to rescue those drawn unto death, and they believe Amendment 3 does that. I'm not convinced it will rescue anyone. The rape and incest exceptions require no police report, no verification, and carry no penalty for a false claim. The fetal anomaly exception requires no second opinion. Most other safeguards are left for future legislatures to write. Even where the amendment closes a door, a woman determined to end her pregnancy can drive to Kansas or Illinois or order pills by mail. Amendment 3 targets in-state clinics while abortion has been moving to the mailbox. No one can prove how many abortions it would prevent, but there's little reason to believe it will be any.
And even if it did, Paul anticipated that reasoning and rejected it: "Let us do evil, that good may come?" (Romans 3:8). We were never forced to choose. A clean repeal of the 2024 amendment would have removed the evil without replacing it with another. And "we'll fix it later" is a hard promise to believe from a legislature that already holds the majorities to fix it now.
Passing Amendment 3 would let our lawmakers and pro-life leaders claim a win, but a win on paper is not the end of abortion in Missouri. And the price of that paper win is steep: it writes into our Constitution that the child conceived in rape or incest, and the child given a diagnosis no one is required to confirm, are the ones weโve agreed not to protect. The fatherless and the afflicted, the very children Scripture tells us to defend first, would be the ones our highest law leaves behind.
On November 3, you'll have one chance to open your mouth for those who cannot speak. Please don't use it to write some of them out.
Vote No on Amendment 3. Then let's hold our legislators to a clean repeal and a recorded vote on personhood. If they will not, then it is time for us to turn to a citizens' petition.
This is awesome! @RebeccaBextel is an example we in Missouri should look to follow! The political parties have trapped us in a cycle of destruction of our rights, liberty, and property! @RebeccaBextel has taken a stand against them!

Update on the La Strada whistleblower lawsuit: Hoskinsโ office has now responded in court.
When we first covered this, the record was entirely one sideโs account โ Hoskinsโ office had not yet commented. Thatโs changed. On October 22, the Attorney Generalโs office filed its Answer and denied nearly every substantive allegation in the suit.
A few things worth knowing:
โ
The state admits La Stradaโs Capitol badge and system access were cut before the federal hearing, and that he wasnโt told in advance, but for cause.
โ The state flatly denies retabulating the Marshall Ward 3 election and denies any discussion of fabricating whistleblower evidence.
๐ New explanation: the state says La Stradaโs access was pulled because he made unauthorized changes to voter audit logs โ not in retaliation for anything he reported. It also argues the lawsuit may fail on legal technicalities regardless of what actually happened.
This is still one sideโs sworn position against the otherโs โ an answer isnโt evidence any more than a petition was. But for the first time, both accounts are now on the record.
We broke down each allegation against the new filing, with a link to the Answer itself: act4mo.org/posts/la-strada-lโฆ
Principle over party means following the record wherever it goes โ even when it gets more complicated, not less.

When the time comes, I shall use 2 Corinthians 5: 8 on my deathbed. It is very much in harmony with my belief.
