@MikeKoncan

I used to talk about the weather on tv. I’m still an outspoken Nickelback fan.

1/ Last night was my last newscast at Global Winnipeg. I’ve had a lot of fun and made some great friends in the last 8.5 years in this city which is now home. It was always a dream of mine to be on tv and I’m proud I accomplished that goal I set out years ago. – at Winnipeg, Manitoba

Best wishes to my pal @MikeKoncan who will make an excellent educator. Great guy, true pro & one of the most helpful colleagues anyone could have. A look at Konky at his 1st kegger back at University when he slips on some Nickelback...

3/ I’m going to miss this job, but I’m also excited to make a career change. I’m going back to school to become an elementary school teacher. I’ve really enjoyed being in front of a classroom talking about weather to kids and I’m looking forward to more of that every day. – at Winnipeg, Manitoba
