Twenty-five years later, the patches are still going up on the walls at O’Hare’s. First responders gathered steps from the 9/11 Memorial to mark the anniversary the only way they know how: show up, remember the pile, and pin another piece of history into that living memorial. Paul Mauro said it best. The further we get from 9/11, the closer we risk getting to 9/10. A third of Americans were not even born that day, so the duty to tell the truth falls harder on the rest of us. Never forget the cops, firefighters, ironworkers, plumbers, and strangers from across the country who ran toward hell. America is still standing because they did.

Just passed Birmingham headed back to Murfreesboro. 65 North Exit 282. Stopped for gas and restroom break. Transgender was in the bathroom with me. I was afraid to say anything. He/she was bigger and stronger than me. This is wrong. Women should not be afraid to use the bathroom. It needs to stop.
