Reviewing the Phase 2 protocol:
I wish them, and the whole team behind them, tremendous success. Nevertheless, this is a mission that should not have been flown, given its use of dead end technology, objectives little different from what we've achieved in the past, and a marginal risk assessment by NASA. If there is a loss of mission or, God forbid, loss of crew, it will set the Artemis program back by years. Conversely, even if it is flawless, it will do little to retire future risks or advance the program timeline. Godspeed and safe travels.

Amazing. And IMO if AI can’t replace the post-game media Q&A drivel, it’s a long time before it will replace doctors or most scientists…
Did Jayson Tatum practice yesterday? "He was at practice?" Did he participate? *Stares* @CLNSMedia | Q: @RealBobManning

They do not research medicines. They do not manufacture medicines. They do not dispense medicines. So why are insurance companies making billions off medicines?

This isn’t exactly what Max Planck meant when he said "A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die"
This is deeply troubling: ACIP voted to expand COVID vaccine informed consent to include 'six risks and uncertainties' that FDA, EMA, and TGA have already reviewed and found lacking clinical relevance. I hope I'm wrong, but from what I can tell through the meeting chaos, they're requiring doctors to discuss IgG4 class switching as a risk. Yes, repeated vaccination can increase IgG4 antibodies specific to spike protein. But IgG4 is the antibody subtype that reduces inflammation, not promotes it. It's a normal response to repeated antigen exposure seen with allergy shots and other vaccines. There's zero evidence this causes immune suppression or IgG4-related disease. If anything, it might protect tissues from excessive inflammatory damage. They also want disclosure of frameshifting (demonstrated at low levels with no harm shown) and DNA fragments (within regulatory specs despite activist claims). The '700-day persistence' comes from the Yale preprint studying post-vaccination syndrome. The researchers themselves emphasize findings are preliminary, need validation, and note all participants had COVID antibodies making attribution unclear. Importantly, the corresponding author stated the persistence isn't from vaccines. In contrast, controlled studies show vaccine spike clears from blood within 14 days in healthy people. Population surveillance from billions of doses shows no signal for these theoretical concerns. The actual documented rare risk, myocarditis, was already properly disclosed. This vote forces healthcare providers to present preliminary research and normal immune responses as established risks, contradicting global regulatory assessments and epidemiological evidence, which is very concerning.

If bagels cost $7 in one market and $400 at another across the street, you’d ask the grocery managers some tough questions. Well, that’s Rx drugs under the control of the pharmacy benefit managers — the middlemen of drug pricing. You don’t see it directly b/c of their insurance games, but you’re paying for their price-gouging through your premiums and co-pays.

Scott Galloway: “Do you realize in 30 years, 3 quarters of congress is going to be dead?” A misalignment problem: ppl governing wont be the inheritors of cumulative budget/climate/etc troubles. Of course the tragicomedy is that the gerontocracy won’t pass term/age limits
