The amount of time and effort that goes in to organising and delivering an event like the @EvertonHeritage Dixie Dean Memorial Award Evening is mind-blowing.
Take a bow, Ken, Mike, Lewis and Dave.

A lovely write up on Johnny Morrissey winning the Dixie Dean Memorial Award last night.
Quite something to consider that our visual display- which included video tributes from teammates- brought “one of the games most feared hard men” to tears.
@MikeRoyden @EvertonHeritage
I joined many others to spend an evening honouring an Everton legend - Jack Grealish would have learned so much 💪💙

I’ve supported Arsenal for over 30 years. I’m a season ticket holder and we’re successful.
Yet I’ve never felt more disconnected from the club.
I’ve written about why, and what I miss about the game I fell in love with.

A real delight to listen to Merlin Röhl at the launch of his photo book, and nice to see @EvertonWomen ‘s finest photographer there too.
If there’s one thing Evertonians love, it’s our cultured midfielders.

J. M. W. Turner, The Fighting Temeraire, 1839
The HMS Temeraire was a famous warship from Trafalgar. By 1838, it was obsolete.
Turner saw a small steam tug drag the wooden giant down the Thames for scrap.
It changed art history forever, anticipating Impressionism and setting the stage for modern art.
Turner called this painting "My Darling". He refused every offer to sell it during his lifetime and left it to the British nation when he died.
