The answer is zero. Better use of my time elsewhere. Even if I miss 1 or 2, in the grand scheme of themes, I donāt need to practice something Iām 99% accurate on.
I do practice making sure I start putts online about 5-10min a day. Short putts are mostly about alignment and starting putts online and nothing else. So I do get some practice that way
Got bounced from Survivor week 2 like a man who doesn't watch football thanks to Bucs and the Browns š¤¦š»āāļø
BUT @SplashSports giving me (and you) a second chance:
$1M revival, $25 entry
$5M revival, $1k entry
Not risking it with my Chargers (or Bucs) againā¦

Thoughts from Baycurrent/Japan:
-Always love coming to Japan. Love the food, the culture and the people. Everyone is super respectful and player dining here is prob best of the yr for me.
-Played with Adam Scott on Sat for the first time in a tournament. He makes the game look so damn easy tee to green. Perfect looking swing, it feels like he can never shoot over par haha. Two eagles on the front nine always helps the scorecard. Super cool playing with another guy I really wanted to be like growing up.
-They had Michelin star restaurant chefs make sushi for us. They also cut open a big tuna in front of us on two of the days as well.
-Also tested the new 2027 Prov1X golf balls. So far, really positive. It feels very similar to the ones I use and off the robot, itās supposed to be better in wind. Weāre not talking like 5-10% but from their testing, it showed a smaller dispersion. Might give it a try at my next event in Cabo.
-My game was kind of all over the place. Felt great off the tee Thursday but got worse as the week went on. Why? No idea, Iāve stopped trying to figure out why. I usually have contingency plans when things go awry in a certain direction which is why I was able to get a top 20 out of it.
-I feel like Iāve really become a solid putter this yr. I know I have a great putter for me and I have a solid system to read and hit putts.
Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way to go. Pick your target, commit to the shot, and let it rip.

Thoughts from FedEx France Open
-Itās very cool returning as defending champion. I got a very warm welcome to the tee each day and everyone in France was super supportive.
-As Bill Simmons often comments, a title defense should be respected. I took that to heart and really tried to play well. I obviously got off to a fantastic start Thursday but couldnāt maintain that form until Sunday. Matt played great all week and a deserving champion.
-Le Golf National was a great course. Lots of hazards and really thick tall weeds that made tee shots super important. The course reminded me of Stadium course in La Quinta and also TPC Scottsdale with how the hazards framed the course. The rough and green firmness wasnāt even that bad this week and it made for a very good challenge.
-I played with Eugenio Chacarra. Nice player that I think will have plenty of success next yr on Pgatour. I think he really enjoys US golf and will love the Pgatour life for the foreseeable future. Nice ball striker.
-Each week Iām reminded that the golf swing is like a living breathing thing even for us tour pros. Each day presents a slightly different swing and the misses that come with that. Thursday misses were way different to Sunday misses. Iāve actually been tinkering with how Iām preparing for events. Usually itās been trying to figure out what changes Iām going to make in order for my swing to be in the perfect zone for the week. But now itās not worrying about trying to get it into that zone but rather having a few adjustments ready based on the misses Iām seeing at the time. Not sure if that made sense haha
-Next tournament will be in Japan! One of my favorite weeks of the yr.

Thoughts from Biltmore Asheville:
-Top 25 isnāt the worst start I think after a few weeks off. Definitely some parts of my game was rusty but a good putting week smoothed things over a bunch.
-Golf swing is such a weird thing. Itās constantly changing for me. My misses were over draws (with my driver) for the last month of my regular season, and it was that way while I was practicing before I came here. But then, starting Tuesday, I started missing it right. I have zero idea why that change happened š
. It doesnāt matter why and I worked on it to get the swing closer to neutral and for the most part, I did a really good job. Itās much easier for me to make an overdraw straight than a right miss to go straight.
-What were those adjustments? Mostly just swinging it as fast as I could off the tee. That helps me release it better and hit my draws. I felt pretty good with my irons so it was mostly the driver.
-I do think aimpoint has definitely improved my consistency with my putting. I didnāt get to practice my putting much when I was back home but aimpoint makes the adjustments to the speed of the greens much easier. I donāt have to rely on my eyes and feel as much. I also feel like I have a good system in place to make adjustments as needed mentally of what I want to think while putting.
-Asheville was a very cool spot. Interestingly, it sits near like 5 bigger cities. There were some really nice homes surrounding the golf course. Course was on the easy side but had some fun holes that I enjoyed playing.
-Onto the French open! Excited to defend!
