The work Jenin and her team are doing at ADC is hands down the most important legal advocacy happening in America. We need to raise enough money for them to hire another 10 Jenins. Prop included a link in his thread, I’ll drop another one here too. I rarely ask for people to share my posts but I’d truly appreciate if you could share this one.
I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for @JeninYounesEsq and the incredible work she and her colleagues at the @adc do to protect people from government abuses. When CBP seized journalist Max Blumenthal’s devices, Jenin helped secure their return in less than 24 hours and is now pursuing legal action demanding greater transparency and accountability. But her work isn't limited to prominent journalists or public figures. Jenin had never even met me, yet she took the time on very short notice to assist me when I was traveling through CBP. More recently, she helped another friend whose family was detained at an airport and had their devices seized. These are just a few examples of the countless people she helps, often quietly and without any public recognition. And she certainly doesn't do it alone. There's an entire organization of dedicated people working tirelessly to defend the rights of citizens and noncitizens alike. Jenin herself probably works 80 hours a week serving a massive community across the country. I genuinely don't know how she does it, but I know that this kind of work takes an enormous personal toll. The other side has ann entire army of lawyers and organizations. We have our own as well but we don’t know them or support them enough. People like Jenin spend their lives showing up for others. I think it's time we showed up for them.  ADC needs our support and resources to continue this important work and give people like Jenin the relief they deserve. If you appreciate having people willing to stand up to government abuses, especially when ordinary people have nowhere else to turn, please consider supporting their work. I'll leave a link below for anyone who wants to contribute. 👇

It is not enough to recognize Palestine. Because recognition still assumes "Israel" has a right to exist as it is. A colonial regime cannot coexist with the people it was built to erase. So long as "Israel" is recognized, Palestine will never be free. True justice begins not with recognition, but with un-recognition of the criminal project that calls itself a state.

Only Miles Davis could have imagined something like “In a Silent Way”. What an album.

During a busy Friday night on August 14, 2026, L’Osteria Mondello, a family-run Italian restaurant in Cheyenne, Wyoming, received a phone order for 18 pizzas totaling about $300. After the kitchen prepared the order, the customer never arrived, and the number used turned out to be fake, revealing a prank intended for social media. Rather than discard the food or pursue a complaint, owner Dave Agovic chose to turn the situation into a community gesture: he donated all 18 pizzas to the emergency department staff at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in recognition of their tireless work saving lives. The story quickly gained national attention, transforming what began as a frustrating loss into a powerful example of goodwill, and earned the restaurant significant positive publicity and community support.
