Absolute nonsense. All the US has done is bury cases massively so much so that only a few rise to public attention. Take the case of Hill 192, a squad literally kidnapped a Vietnamese girl, took her to their observation post and gang raped her, then murdered her. One of the soldiers had a conscience and refused to rape her, and on return to base reported this to his company C/O who buried it, even warned him that his life will be at risk if he continues on this path. But this one soldier persisted, but nothing happened till he was transferred out to a different unit, and there he ran into a Captain (the divisional chaplain) who then escalated it up the chain of command. The 4 others who gang raped and murdered that girl were court martialed but were all imprisoned for a max of 5 years (1 didn't serve time, another served 18 months, 1 did 2 years and the squad commander 4). This was just one case and it was almost buried. Imagine the 1000's of cases that would have actually been buried? Ever heard of the Tiger Force? Yeah that's right am sure you have no idea who they were. This was an American unit in Vietnam that committed war crimes every single day for years. Rape, mass murder, brutal torture, slave labour... They were as bad as the Einzatsgruppen but scale was smaller. They were even awarded a Presidential Unit Citation! Were they not investigated? Hell yes they were. The US army conducted a series of investigations and clearly established the fact that in a mere 5 months (the period of investigation) the unit 1) mass murdered civilians of all ages 2) used rape as a weapon 3) brutal torture 4) padding "death counts" aka body counts by killing civilians and planting a single gun amongst 2 dozen civilian bodies and calling everyone VC. It describes individual events like the time a soldier shot a 3 month old baby, and then raped and shot it's mother and then beheaded both the corpses. But the investigation decided that the unit was highly effective and buried the investigation entirely. It was in 2003 that these reports were leaked to a newspaper that then conducted it's own investigation and exposed this humongous crimes. But that's it. The US never acknowledged these crimes and pretended it never happened. Every single man and officer in that squad retired with honours eventually.
