I have great news, both of my parents are happy and supportive of me being a Trans woman. We hugged. 🥺 💕 They smiled so much and so did I at the moment of our reunion. They told me they like how I look and that I sound really happy compared to the past. My mom proceeded to explain how she thinks I need to get a longer skirt because she is afraid men on the street might catcall me. My dad was explaining that he doesn't understand goth/alternative fashion, but he approved of it as long as I 'm happy being myself. However, sometimes when they talk to me they still refer to me as their "son" or "Hijo" instead of "daughter" or "Hija", but when I point it out they apologize and proceed to explain that it might take them some time to get fully used to it. I think they are trying their best, maybe it's a process to adapt. What do you think? Thank you so much for all the possitive comments on my posts earlier, I didn't sleep much. I was too nervous preparing for the worst and woke up multiple times during the night. All went well and is going well so far. Btw, my mom and dad said hi.
