Someone built a fitness app using the same psychological mechanics as gambling
This might work better than every normal fitness app 😭😭
You bet money on whether you’ll hit 10,000 steps today
If you fail, you lose your money
If you succeed, you split the money from everyone who didn’t
So disciplined people literally profit off lazy people
Most fitness apps try motivating you with streaks and notifications
This one motivates you with financial fear
Imagine realizing at 11:52pm you still need 1,700 more steps or you lose $30
Entire friend groups would be outside walking laps around their neighborhood before midnight trying not to lose their steppa challenge
It sounds stupid but this would probably motivate people better than any other fitness product
Would you use this yourself?

If one immigrates to any given country, they must respect the laws and culture of that country and contribute to that country to the best of their ability, doing no harm.
That applies to ALL countries.

One simple UX addition = +$12,400 in monthly revenue 🔥
The problem:
Our client's collection pages had good traffic but low conversion.
Analyzing user behavior, we discovered shoppers were clicking through to product pages just to see more product angles, then bouncing.
Our solution:
We added a swipe feature to product cards on the collection page.
Now shoppers could:
- See multiple product images directly
- View different angles and variations
- Make faster decisions without leaving the page
The results:
→ +$12,400 per month
→ +$148,800 per year (forecasted)
→ +$0.43 revenue per session
Why it worked:
Reduced friction in the shopping journey.
Customers could evaluate products more thoroughly without additional clicks, keeping them in the purchase flow.
Simple changes can deliver high-impact results when they solve real user problems.

This feature is already available. When we click on 'Add a project' on Contra, the import option is already showing there. I'm not sure if it will work with Dribbble, but I have imported projects from Behance many times.

The first proposal I sent for my design services was for $500.
The latest was for $30,000.
What changed was not only my skill with pixels, but also my understanding of value that we bring.
I remember the anxiety of sending that first $500 proposal, wondering if it was too much.
It was for a business that didn't rely on their website as much so the ROI wasn't as impressive for them.
But when your work helps your clients raise $2-10M+ or add $20k MRR to their revenue,
$30K becomes a no-brainer and something you start feeling comfortable with charging.
But getting to this point takes time. It's built on:
- Proving your impact, project by project
- Learning to measure what matters to businesses
- Finding the courage to price based on value, not time
Every designer starts somewhere. Focus on creating work that drives measurable results, and the rest follows naturally.
The confidence to charge what you're worth comes from knowing exactly what you can deliver.
