noticing a trend where people even on the left are saying justin roiland or andrew tate or whoever the guy of the week is was "cancelled" when what they actually mean is that they were arrested. for sex crimes. they weren't cancelled. they went to jail. those are not the same!

he’s right. the people in that woman’s thread comparing fare evasion to personal theft don’t understand a goddamn thing. you cannot steal from a public service that charges you and uses that funding to not improve nor maintain said service that you also pay for with taxes

The actual alternative to schools respecting students’ transitions without outing them is not students simply sticking to their assigned gender, it’s them hiding their lived gender in both school and the home and only being able to express it with friends.
ALT For one thing, if a decision to socially transition that is kept from parents sticks, *a young, developing person will then spend months, or maybe even years, living one identity at school and another among their family. That just can’t be psychologically healthy.* It fosters distrust between students and parents, and it isn’t sustainable because the parents are inevitably going to find out (if schools think they can keep it a secret in the long term, that’s ridiculous).

Reminder that cops just pick and choose when and how to enforce the law, and this problem is getting worse.

I think a lot of our obsession with finding one (1) specific art style is tied to the idea of branding/marketing ourselves.
honestly, play around, experiment, create whatever and discover what you like - rather than bogging yourself down with trying to find your art style

“You should have multiple streams of income.”
No. Jobs should pay a thriving wage. We should have universal basic income & healthcare & housing & no one should have to work so hard to have their basic needs met.
Stop letting capitalism make you think grind culture is a flex.

Everyone wrote their essays and did their studies and argued about "defund the police" and years later a man can still be held down by cops in the middle of the street as he begs for his life and says "they're trying to George Floyd me" and get tased seven times before dying.
LAPD officers tased and tackled a Black English teacher after a car crash, causing him to suffer fatal cardiac arrest, family say.
#KeenanAnderson, 31, died at the hospital while in police custody.
LAPD killed 170+ people since 2013, Black victims 4.4x more often than white.

Huge leak from an insider @Wizards
It's what we feared: the higher ups despise us, the D&D community, and see us only as an "obstacle to their money".
