Today I am announcing that I have parted company with Reform UK and joined Restore Britain. Thank you to @RupertLowe10 and the team for the warm welcome. I will continue in my role as councillor for Wollaston and Stourbridge Town with exactly the same commitment to representing residents, dealing with casework and fighting our corner in Dudley Borough. My involvement with Reform UK spanned several years, and I have not taken this decision lightly. I entered politics because I believe strongly in defending our national sovereignty, culture and individual liberties, while promoting entrepreneurialism, economic freedom and our national identity. Those principles have not changed. I have joined Restore Britain because I believe it now offers the clearest political home for those principles. Over time, Reform UK has taken positions and changed direction on important issues in ways that I have found increasingly difficult to reconcile with the reasons I became involved in the movement in the first place. I respect that others will reach different conclusions, including friends and colleagues who remain in Reform. For me, however, staying put simply because leaving might be difficult would have been the wrong thing to do. What particularly attracts me to Restore Britain is its willingness to put substantial policy proposals behind its arguments. Its detailed policy documents set out what it believes needs to change, how it proposes to achieve it and the difficult decisions that will be required. I would particularly encourage people to read The Wealth of Our Nation and the party's other policy documents and make up their own minds. This move also means reuniting with people with whom I have previously campaigned and worked. Although it is difficult to leave behind colleagues and party members whom I greatly admire, I hope we can continue working constructively together where our interests coincide. Party politics should never prevent us from doing what is right for Dudley Borough. Most importantly, I want to address the people of Wollaston and Stourbridge Town directly. You elected me to represent you, and that responsibility remains paramount. Whether it is individual casework, supporting our communities, standing up for local businesses or challenging decisions that I believe are wrong, my commitment to the ward is not conditional upon the party name next to mine. I know some residents will support this decision and others will disagree with it. I respect both. What I can promise is that I will continue to exercise my own judgement, listen to the people I represent and work in the interests of Wollaston, Stourbridge and the wider borough. I look forward to working with my new colleagues in Restore Britain and to the challenges ahead. We have much to do to @RestoreBritain.

In 1998, a 13-year-old girl was abducted and raped at knifepoint in Alicante, Spain. The rapist, 63-year old Antonio Cosme, was sentenced to 9 years in jail. 7 years later, in 2005, the victim's mother, María del Carmen García, was waiting at a bus stop when she saw a man approaching. "How's your daughter doing?" the man asked with a smirk on his face. It was her daughter's rapist. Antonio was out on day release. Enraged by what had just happened, Maria ran to the nearest store, purchased 1.5 litres of gasoline, and walked into the bar that Antonio had just entered. She doused him head-to-toe with gasoline, lit him up, and stood back and calmly watched as her daughter's rapist burned alive in front of her eyes. Maria was sentenced to 9.5 years in jail for her act of revenge, but was released in 2018 after serving 5.5 years. Today, she lives freely in Spain after being reunited with her daughter.

Who would ever have thought this would happen .... WAKE UP — UK, September 2026 They’re showing you masked men at Dover and Portsmouth so you stay glued to the boats, the flags, and the street fights. Look past the footage. A national Digital ID was announced in 2025 as the tool that would “stop illegal working” and therefore stop the boats. Three million people signed a petition. The mandatory version was dropped. They do not require a plastic card with your face on it. They require your phone, your biometrics, and a certified provider. This is the pattern: • Announce the big, scary ID. • Watch the backlash. • Quietly keep the verification rails, the age checks, the right-to-work apps, the single government login. • Let the streets stay angry enough that “more control” sounds like common sense. Do not get so busy arguing about who organised the latest port blockade that you miss what is being built while you argue. Watch the legislation, the DVS register, the licensing changes, and what becomes mandatory for employers and landlords — not just the next protest video. This is Todd Beamer. He prayed before leading a group of passengers to overpower hijackers on Flight 93. He died a Christian, father, husband, and hero. This was his transcript.
