Our fifth & final stop of the day was the breathtaking Þingvellir National Park!
Þingvellir is where the North American & Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly pulling apart, creating dramatic cliffs & valleys.
The park was also used as a filming location for Game of Thrones!

Our second stop of the day was the spectacular Gullfoss Waterfall!
Known as the ‘Golden Falls’, Gullfoss is one of Iceland’s most famous natural wonders. The powerful waterfall plunges 32 metres in two stages into a dramatic canyon, creating an incredible sight! 🇮🇸 🌊

🇮🇸 Houstone pupils & staff have safely arrived in Iceland!
Their first stop was the Bridge Between Two Continents, where pupils had the incredible opportunity to stand between the North American & Eurasian tectonic plates! 🌍

As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, we visited @HoustoneSchool for the @premierleague Inspires Challenge.
Working in groups of five, students are creating projects on how Luton Town can support and promote positive mental health on matchdays and within the local community.
The winning project will represent @LutonTown at the Premier League Inspires Challenge National Celebration Event at Hill Dickinson Stadium (Home of Everton) in April🧡 #PLInspires #PLMoreThanAGame
