I got 2 Pfizers: This is my story, in my own words. I recently sat down for an interview to speak openly about what I believe may be a serious vaccine-related injury and the health problems that have changed nearly every part of my life. Talking about this is not easy. Before my health declined, I was already living with the lasting effects of a severe concussion. But I had spent years rebuilding. I returned to school, completed my graphic design education, regained some independence, and finally started believing I had a future again. Then things changed. After my COVID vaccinations, I became extremely sick and drained following each dose. I never felt like I fully returned to my previous baseline, and over time my health continued to worsen. My known COVID infection came roughly a year later, after that decline had already begun. By 2023, I had developed psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. By 2024, my condition became overwhelming. Today, I live with severe burning and radiating nerve pain, numbness, pins and needles, crawling sensations, migraines, intense head pressure, brain fog, memory problems, extreme fatigue, insomnia, muscle weakness, difficulty standing and walking, pelvic and sciatic-type pain, back and neck pain, tinnitus, hearing loss, dizziness, balance problems, nausea after activity, temperature swings, fever-like episodes, cold hands and feet, and flares that can worsen with changes in weather. Even minor activity can trigger a major crash. I may feel increasingly sick, sore, exhausted, and neurologically overwhelmed later that day, and the next day can feel like I was hit by a truck. I have also been diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, sleep apnea, hearing loss, and other ongoing health complications. One of the things that has stayed with me is hearing doctors describe patients dealing with shooting pain, weakness, difficulty walking, dizziness, light and sound sensitivity, cranial neuropathies, and other serious neurological problems. Hearing symptoms like that described was difficult because so much of it sounded familiar. The overlap I see in my own life is impossible for me to ignore: Nerve pain. Weakness. Difficulty walking. Neurological symptoms. Severe fatigue. Loss of function. That does not, by itself, prove what caused my illness. I am not asking social media to diagnose me. I am asking a much simpler question: Why shouldn’t people with serious, persistent symptoms be properly investigated? I am still searching for answers. I am not sharing this for sympathy. I am sharing it because there are people living with severe, unexplained health problems who feel dismissed, unheard, or unable to put into words what is happening to their bodies. Whatever someone believes about my conclusions, patients deserve proper investigation, compassion, transparency, and the freedom to ask difficult questions about their own health. We are more than statistics. We are people with families, goals, careers, dreams, and lives we want back.
