@RayerHead @MrsBarry4 @MrsCDavies2 @MissRyanRog the sunflowers seeds that we planted on the first week of lockdown are now over 8ft tall!! Maddie thinks they’re a bean stalk in disguise... we’ll send in a sunflower head of seeds next term ready to plant next spring!!

Great measuring Dylan! 🚗

Started with KS2 maths #Homeschooling2020 yesterday. Measured how far cars traveled on a slope & ranked them. I got carried away, got Dylan to measure the weight of the cars. I progressed to A Level Maths (mechanics) and worked out their acceleration! @RayerHead @MissRyanRog

Dylan made this storage box a few weeks ago with his Dad from a wood pallet @RayerHead @MissRyanRog. Now to write the instructions @MissACook 😆 They measured the wood; cut it to size; then nailed the wood together. On top is his @Natures_Voice bug home 😀 #Homeschooling2020

Today in the "Matthews Academy" Dylan followed instructions for literacy and made cookies......for Halloween 🎃....... as they were the only cookie cutters in the house! They tasted lovely for our lunch 😝 #Homeschooling2020 @MissACook1 @MissRyanRog @RayerHead

Our clocks are ready for Maths this week. Our designs are based on @SuperMario_UK, Dylan's specialist topic. Now to get Dylan to apply his abaility to memorise Mario facts to #Homeschooling2020 🤔😅😏 @MissRyanRog @RayerHead

My great, great Uncle Evan went to war in 1939 but unfortunately he didn’t return home. His remains were eventually found by two men with a metal detector in 2003 who identified him by his dog tag! He had a funeral with full military honours almost 60 years after he died 😊🇬🇧🎖

We’ve all been thinking about VE Day this week! You might have some connections to people who helped in the war effort that you want to share with us as part of this week’s year 3 challenge! 🇬🇧😊
