I used to think learning a tech skill while in school was almost impossible. I had lectures almost every day. I had projects to work on. Exams to prepare for. Assignments. And after all that, I still wanted to learn a tech skill. Honestly, I barely had enough time. But I realized something: I didn’t need 5 hours every day to make progress. I just needed to give myself the little time I had. These are 2 things that helped me: I stopped waiting for “free time.” If I had 1 hour, I used it. If I had 30 minutes, I used it. Sometimes I could only learn a little, but I still showed up. I stopped expecting fast results. I had school to deal with, so I knew my progress would be slower than someone learning full-time. And that was okay. Some days I learned a lot. Some days I barely did anything. But I kept coming back. The lesson for me was simple: You don’t always need more time. Sometimes you just need to start with the time you already have and stay consistent with it. Even 30 minutes a day can become something big when you keep doing it. 💻🚀
