With respect to the idea of a Crypto-Czar at the Whitehouse, I feel the role needs to be filled with someone who is neutral, works with all the protocols, and has a deep understanding of why crypto is special as well as what the US government under Biden has done wrong.
There is only one candidate that I think stands out in our industry for this role and that's @brian_armstrong. Coinbase has grown into one of the pillars of crypto and has had to endure the unfair tactics of a government committed to regulation through enforcement.
I know he could build a broad tent coalition to bring the industry together and help us get the government rallied behind real action including passing new laws.
For my part, having worked with the legislative branch in Wyoming to get 31 crypto laws passed, I'm focusing a ton of my efforts on the House and Senate to help facilitate the legislative effort that will forever remove the abuses of the current federal government and open the floodgates for the legacy world to enter crypto.
To this end, I'm flying to DC today to begin formally meeting and advising several lawmakers and will be starting a project in January out of IO Policy called Operation Baseline to survey the American cryptocurrency industry to identify waste, abuse, and missed opportunities.
It's important that these get transmitted to the new Crypto-Czar and the lawmakers so that there are clear business requirements for policy. The president's goal is to make America the best place in the world to start and run a cryptocurrency and blockchain business. We as an industry have to come together to make that happen.
There are no excuses anymore. The time has come to get this done so that we all can get back to work changing the world.

"Over the last year Levvy.fi has seen an average of 6,000,000 ADA per month in volume between lenders and borrowers (3,440,000 ADA in the last 30 days). Our platform allows users to lend ADA and borrowers to secure loans using their assets as collateral. We differ from other lending protocols by positioning ourselves as a leveraging platform, rather than just a lending and borrowing protocol.
Borrowers can use less collateral than other lending platforms to secure loans and make shorter term speculative moves in the market. In return for the lenders taking on more risk with these lower collateral loans, they’re rewarded a higher premium in interest fees charged to the borrower.
Cardano has seen it’s DeFi ecosystem grow dramatically over the last year, with dozens of incredible new projects blossoming in the ecosystem. Many of these projects have their own tokens that represent governance power and act as shares in their respective projects. We can offer a unique approach in allowing users to harness their investments in these tokens to unlock additional yield earning opportunities by providing a platform that allows them to lend their tokens in return for interest yield."
