Being busy isn't a personality trait. Neither is telling everyone how fucking busy you are.

Being a solopreneur is great until you realise the person responsible for every decision is the same idiot who ordered three desserts.

I didn't become a solopreneur to build a business that needs a permission slip every time I want to leave the country.

I didn't become a solopreneur because I hate working. I became one because I hate being told how to work by people who are fucking useless at it.

The 2 solopreneur superpowers that I cultivated
To get me to $50k months
1- Resilience
The ability to stand up and try despite my fears
Convinced that I will find a way no matter what
2- Enthusiasm
The ability to enjoy every single step
Despite the (perceived) judgement of others
Peace ✌️
PS - Which superhero do you most want to be?
PPS - Personally, I think they're all cunts

The whole point of being a solopreneur is freedom. If you've built yourself a business you can't escape for five minutes, what the fuck was the point?

Your network will stop sending you clients
It always does
At the start of a solo business, your network carries you
Friends
Old colleagues
Referrals
Warm introductions
It feels like traction
It isn’t
It’s borrowed momentum
Eventually the messages slow down. The referrals stop
And suddenly you're staring at your Linkedin feed wondering
“Where the hell are my clients coming from now?”
This is the moment most solopreneurs panic
Not because they’re bad at what they do
But because they never built a client acquisition system
A network is helpful
A system is reliable
One dries up
The other compounds
Peace ✌️
PS- Watching things dry is famously boring, unless it’s your client flow, then it’s deeply personal

Being a solopreneur means nobody can tell you what to do. Unfortunately, that includes the person who should probably tell you to stop working.

I have this quote from @MoeChoice auto sent to me every morning to kick my butt.
"Only thing between you and $15k is a conversation you keep choosing not to start."

Surround yourself with people who see a flying car and say, "Awesome!"
Not people who see a flying car and say, "It's not actually flying" or "I don't see the point."
This post is not about cars :)

I was mid-hip thrust when I found out @Shanemgillis had called me a whore. Technically I found out four hours later, when I reviewed the footage of Saturday Night Live. My tripod was on the bench, my ring light was clamped to the squat rack and my boyfriend Tanner was holding the back-up phone for the side angle. Tanner films all my content. He is not allowed to look at me.
The “joke” was about how women dress at the gym. I know it was about me, because everything is. So I did what any survivor would do. I went to my car and filmed myself crying. It took 11 takes, because the lighting in a Range Rover is unforgiving, and grief is no excuse for a bad shot. In the final cut, you can see a single tear land on my sports bra right over the logo, which clicks through to an affiliate link. My caption: “I’m literally shaking.”
Then I put on the shortest shorts I own, went back inside, and filmed my ass from three angles with the caption, “Does this outfit work for you, Shane Gillis?” I wanted to send him a message that my body is not for men. To make sure Shane got the message, I tagged him. Then I tagged every man I follow. Some people say my response proved his point. These people are rapists.

Simon was just found dead.
I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21.
Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story:

BBC News:
bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d…
I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors.
My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher.
I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day.
The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me.
Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly:

Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

Integrity isn't about being a good person
It's about not leaking
Think about the integrity of a ship
Every part holds together
No cracks
No leaks
Nothing pulling against itself
I think people work the same way
Your past, present and future
Your why, how and what
Your head, heart and hands
Whatever you want to call it
When they're all pulling in different directions, you feel it
You second guess yourself
Make decisions you don't believe in
Say one thing and do another
Build a life you're constantly trying to escape from
But when they're aligned?
You become very difficult to knock off course
Not because everything suddenly goes your way
Most things are outside our control anyway
But because whatever happens, you trust yourself to deal with it
There's a quote I've remembered for years from a book I haven't
Couldn't tell you the title
Couldn't tell you the author
But this stuck
"If you have integrity, nothing else matters
If you don't have integrity, nothing else matters"
Basically, the quote had more integrity than the book
Because if you have it, you'll find your way
And if you don't?
Finding it probably matters more than finding anything else
Capeesh 🤌
PS- Sorry to whoever wrote the book
You peaked for two sentences
