“He’s going to go through and arthroscopic procedure in the next 24 hours. We’re constantly updating his imaging, his imaging from yesterday, showed an issue that we want to get addressed quickly. Our only concern is his long-term health.”
On what the injury is specifically
“It’s not a meniscus, I don’t want to speak out of school, my liberal arts degree will screw me up. It’s just an arthroscopic clean up”
On if this could have been addressed over the summer
“No, the imaging has changed on the most recent imaging. We’ve had a bunch of imaging over the summer and it changed as of yesterday”

Yep. He’s had a chronic runners knee for years now. They tried to rehab it with rest during the offseason to fix it and it flared up again
Getting this surgery now will allow him to be 100% for the playoffs and finally get to see Ant at 100% of his powers.

Ant really dropped 47 on 64% TS against Peyton Watson, one of the most elite perimeter defenders, while playing on a knee that would later require a procedure that’d sideline him for two months… Just puts into perspective how special he really is.

In the NBA's last 2-minute report, it was concluded that James Harden should have been called for a foul on Anthony Edwards' drive late. Also, the steal from LaMelo Ball on Donovan Mitchell was deemed incidental contact. Not surprised at either determination.
