Currently enjoying omp with gpt-5.5, definitely worth trying it even if it was only for the cute reasoning like "I should break it down into categories or deadlines. Also, it might help to mark things as completed; that always feels satisfying! Let's get those tasks sorted out!"

Seeing this phenomenon where a company buying a product adds unnecessary requirements and security theatre to their process. taking forever to take a decision and/or end paying too much
Feels like they so afraid of taking any risk and they prefer to sabotage the company
In most feudal or super unequal societies the upper strata is extracting value from the lower strata. In a world where almost everything is automated there is no need to exploit fellow humans.
Crazy how copilot fell of, basically the first in their space with control of both the biggest code editor, storage and collaboration platform
Current feeling regarding AI and automation: AI is already automating many tasks that where previously done by humans, it seems that more and more tasks will get automated both because of increased adoption and increased capabilities.
While inference cost and availability will likely be a limiting factor for some time I’m pretty sure it will be sorted out considering the competition in this space and how early the industry still is.
We will eventually see tasks that got automated become commodity.
So what do we do with the output of all these tasks ? And what happens to the people who were doing them before ?
I guess the what will depend on each person or moral entity but basically the end goal is never the task so each will continue to work towards his goals using the new tools and get more efficient at it and discover new goals.
As for the people that were previously doing the tasks it may require a heavy shift in their training but they will have to either move to a completely different domain or move to a new level of abstraction where their job is to define goals.
This is just straight out of my head and obviously, will iterate on it and see where it leads
