#Titans HC Robert Saleh says Jordan Elliott having a gun was, in a way, a “small sign of a cry for help,” considering he had no prior issues and is a father and a hard worker.
Saleh referenced two suicides in the NFL over the past year and expressed concern about players struggling without getting the help they need.
“These kids go through a lot. I will stand on the table for Jordan’s character. My message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping DT that can help for a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. He’s a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment.”
Ex-#Titans DT Jordan Elliott went to his car to retrieve his gun after a practice altercation with OT JC Latham last Thursday (Oct. 15).
After being told to leave the field, Elliott took off his pads and stormed out of the facility, then went to the players' lot. Security cameras captured the sequence. Veteran DL John Franklin-Myers talked him down, and no one was hurt.
The Titans released Elliott on Tuesday after reviewing the incident. He signed a 2-year, $8M deal this offseason.
News of the incident was first reported by @eastonfreeze and additional details provided by @AaronWilson_NFL.

Nick Young recalls Kobe Bryant throwing the Lakers a stripper party at the start of the season, then leaving the team to enjoy it
“Kobe was hard on you, yeah, he was. But Kobe was cool though.”
“I remember at the beginning of the season, Kobe would have a party for the team to get together.”
“We’d go eat first, and Kobe would be like, ‘Man, I got y’all a little something something.’”
“We go upstairs, we see the strippers and stuff, and then Kobe’s like, ‘Y’all have fun,’ and leaves.”
“I was like, ‘Man, thank you. That’s swag though.’”
“He taught me a little bit of swag.”
“I said, ‘I ain’t leaving.’”

Kobe running through all five on his fingers 💍
Three came next to Shaq from 2000 to 2002. The last two came in 2009 and 2010 with him as the main guy, and he was Finals MVP both times.
I think those last two are what put him in the all time conversation. They settled whether he could win without Shaq, and he beat Boston in seven to get the fifth.
