पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (PNB) ने अपनी ग्रेटर नोएडा शाखा में कुछ ग्राहकों के सावधि जमा (FD) और बचत खाते (SB) से संबंधित कथित वित्तीय अनियमितताओं की शिकायतों को लेकर सार्वजनिक सूचना जारी की है. बैंक के अनुसार, मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए जांच और आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जा रही है. PNB ने बताया कि अब तक करीब ₹43 लाख की राशि से संबंधित तीन दावों का निपटारा किया जा चुका है. बैंक ने ग्राहकों को आश्वस्त किया है कि सभी वास्तविक एवं वैध दावों का उचित सत्यापन और निपटारा किया जाएगा. PNB ने यह भी कहा है कि पीड़ितों/शिकायतकर्ताओं के दावों की जांच लागू नियमों और प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार की जाएगी. बैंक ने ग्राहकों से अपील की है कि वे अपने खातों और वित्तीय लेन-देन को लेकर सतर्क रहें तथा किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की जानकारी बैंक को दें. बैंक ने कहा कि वह अपने आंतरिक नियंत्रण और निगरानी तंत्र को मजबूत करने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठा रहा है, ताकि ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति को रोका जा सके.
