You got a 3% raise and everything went up 3-7%. That’s not a raise. That’s your money standing still or depreciating while you work harder.
Checked the numbers this morning. $10,000 kept in cash since January 2020 now buys what $7,660 bought back then. Nobody took anything from us. The money just does less work every year.
My parents saved, worked hard and avoided debt. They did everything we were told to do. They still fell behind.
Did they do something wrong?
“I’ll invest when I have more money” is the same sentence as “I’ll get fit when I have more time.”
Take action now.
I have been holding Bitcoin through a 58% drawdown and honestly, the weird part isn’t the fear, it’s the excitement of seeing it go lower so that I can own more at a lower price.

It divides into 100 million pieces. Start with one satoshi.
“Store of value" just means: will this buy the same thing in 20 years?
For cash, the answer has been no for a century.
Schools spend twelve years teaching us how to earn money by working for others but never taught us how to keep it without losing its value.
Volatility hurts because we watch it happen.
Inflation doesn't hurt because we don't see it.
But in fact, only one of them is actually taking our money.
Our money isn't in the bank. It's been lent to someone else. And its value depreciate faster than our salary raise.
