Almost a decade ago Texas Governor Greg Abbott personally recruited pastor Robert Morris to help promote an anti-trans bathroom bill.
And then in 2025, Morris pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 12 year old.
After serving only 6 months in jail, Morris is now free.

I live in a very red county. I’m not sure a Democrat has ever been elected here.

Meet MAGAt Scott DesJarlais—the "100% pro-life" GOP Congressman representing Tennessee's 4th district, with a heavy dose of "rules for thee, but not for me."
While championing strict anti-abortion laws for everyone else, court records and audio logs proved he pressured his mistress to get an abortion and mutually agreed to two more with his ex-wife. Yes, that’s three abortions for the ultimate family-values conservative.
But wait, it gets better: the mistress was actually his active medical patient. The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners had to formally reprimand him for unprofessional conduct because apparently, "doctor-patient boundaries" are just a suggestion.
Good to know that a lifetime anti-abortion voting record magically washes away three personal abortions. Hypocrisy at its absolute finest.
