Moor First School

Please come to Moor First this evening Thursday 9th October (4.15-6.00pm) to see what our school has to offer! 📚✏️✂️📎📏🖍️🎓

Come and visit our Moor First family this Thursday! 4.15-6.00. Your children can join in with our pupils in a range of fun activities.

Our EYFS have had a great time today celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year. They have been learning about Chinese traditions, the animals and even tried some delicious Chinese food, using chopsticks. We are always preparing our young children for life in the modern world

Our Little Acorns and Seedling class have had so much fun with the parachute to show teamwork and develop motor skills. They even discussed how the balloon colours are both in the French flag and the British Flag. They know that white represents royalty! Their faces say it all!

First mountain ticked off the list-Pen Y Fan!!! It’s been tough already!!! 2 more to go through the night, please donate if not donated already and spur us on as the next one is in the rain too! £845 raised already towards our £1000 goal! justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…

2 days to go before Mrs Atherton and her sister take on the Welsh 3 Peaks! Any donation is greatly appreciated. Mrs Atherton is dividing all the monies raised between Moor First School and Royal Stoke Cancer department. justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…

We have only gone and done it again! Gold School Games Champions for this academic year 2023-24. Thank you to everyone who has helped us to achieve this. Moor First school truly are sporting champions.

What a fantastic day at the village well dressing! Well done to Moor first maypolers and to the children who made the petalling boards.

As part of Health Awareness week, our pupils have been spending time doing things they love and communicating kindness with others through games 😃#togetherwearestronger
